Too many American's find lies easier to believe than truths. Dick Army knows this well and plays the lie instrument like a master. It seems that American's will always dance to the lies until they are too sick to dance. Unfortunately there is no cure for stupid. They are dancing the dance of death.

Dick Armey is doing more harm to the USA out of office than hid in...which is quite a feat.

Former Rep. Army, when he's speaking on the public, outdoor platform as shown in the image with the video clip in this CD page strikes me as an actor, a very insincere man, whose word I couldn't take for an honest one even if I still disagreed with him, which I would. He says that politics is 97% fiction, the rest being imagination, which is rather dumb, since they're rather synonymous terms in this kind of usage of them. They're words that are good to keep in mind when the video shows him debating Hillary Clinton, when they're facing off, for this face-off strikes me as also fraud, insincere, just a stage-act and one they both obviously got a kick out of. There's clearly [no] sincerity in either of them!
A "juicy" bit of information is presented by Bill Moyers at the end of the video; juicy and IMPORTANT. EVERYONE should carefully keep that information in mind; never forget it! Everyone who supports politicians getting all of the taxpayer-funded health care coverage they could need, and more, while refusing to support universal healthcare for [all] citizens, and legal residents, should be ... lynched on site; or, well, if not lynched, then paraded around in tarred-and-chicken-feathers re-accoutrement in public for hours, even days, anyway. The latter, along with confiscating the riches of such people, would be a better solution than lynching would be, but if we don't go for the former, then I guess that I could settle for the latter.

And even as that shadow swallows the light they hate, so shall it swallow them.

I'm not sure that he actually hates that light you're talking about. After all, he definitely knows about what Bill Moyers says at the end of the clip, the fact that all politicians or employees of government in the US have government-provided and therefore their own universal health care coverage, for themselves; while trying to lead the public against demanding the same, equality for everyone. It's an act and like Army says in the clip, politics is 97% fiction, 3% imagination, so he's therein saying what his political career has rather wholly consisted of and clearly hasn't improved since leaving political office. He doesn't strike me as someone who's truly sincere in his words stated on the public podium, whatever the contraption's called, on Sept. 18th, unless the PBS video's of that date for posting while the actual anti-healthcare demonstration in DC was a day or so earlier.
He probably doesn't hate that light you're talking about. Instead, he may well appreciate it; just that he appreciates making Big Insurance cies very profitable enough more that he's willing to compromise on what he'd otherwise support, universal healthcare. He doesn't seem at all really honest when speaking on the podium.
Nor does the woman sitting at a table with the coup government leader in Honduras seem at all sincere with all of her praying and claiming, literally in the name of Jesus, that they, that is, the oligarchy and their government "tools" need to crush the violent, hateful, etcetera population that's only demanding for real democracy and, there-for, constitutional corrections. She's clearly not serious. She surely knows that the Jesus of the New Testament would throw her even harder than he threw the money changers out of the temple, synagogue, whatever the structure or place is called.
So Army's and most US (and Canadian, UK'ian, etcetera) politicians' politics is 97% fiction, which is to say LIES, and 3% imagination. What imagination? They don't have much. Instead, the problem is a dumbed population that consists of TOO MANY people who think like idiots and can't see "the obvious". It doesn't take much imagination to come up with John Wayne movies, and consider how popular these historically deceitful films, stories were. John Wayne's films were idiots' films, but they were popular. The problem is the dumbed population; not intelligent or brilliant politicians, political charlatans.
An intelligent, competent, ... person can say things to dumb people, but the latter being dumb don't understand.
Army's an opportunist, like all political charlatans, or simply all charlatans, are. He realises that there are MANY dumb supporters among so-called Republican voters; saying so-called only because they're hardly constitutional, whereas a true Republican would be highly constitutional, defender of the Bill of Rights, and an opponent of US warring on other countries, the Federal Reserve being in private bankers' control, and corruption of the EPA and all other parts of the government of the USA, which includes the neocons hijackng the Republican Party over the past few decades or so. A true Republican wouldn't have assailed Bill Clinton for his sexual exploits in the White House; a true Republican would've assailed Clinton for his war crimes and other crimes against humanity, nationally and internationally. And the person would oppose any and all pretending members of the Repub. Party who'd threaten to command wars, etcetera, or who'd propose that such crimes be carried out. A true Repub. would oppose the US pretending to be policeman over Earth; even if it was as an honest policeman. The true Repub. would demand that international laws, etcetera, be very strictly respected by the government of the USA, esp. when the US is co-signatory.
There are only a handful of true Repubs; evidently. Ron Paul is among of the truest ones; and that's if there are any others in the US Congress and Senate.
Army's acting as a charlatan liar in his "leadership" words stated on the podium (whatever) at the demonstration in DC last week. He's speaking these words probably not because he actually believes he's right, but to profit Big Insurance (cies) and thereby profit for himself. He surely knows he's making the trade-off, selling off rights and social responsibility for PROFIT(S). He surely realises he's only conning the followers.
Similarly, Hillary Clinton is a complete joke in what's shown of the face-off between her and Army in the PBS video with Bill Moyers. She strikes me as speaking for universal healthcare in highly insincere terms; knowing well that she can speak in terms that please and appease the public, while being certain that her words are about something that would certainly not happen and for which there's awfully little real sincerity in the US Congress and Senate. She knows in advance that the proposal is going to be defeated, so she can easily speak in terms that are pleasing and appeasing for the public. And she knows that acting this way is without risk to her relationships (secret) with U.S. corporations and Big Insurance cies, while attracting a segment of Dem. Party voters to support her political "career" (of scam sort).
Army surely knows that universal healthcare wouldn't cost the demonstrators more money, but that it'd help them to SAVE money, instead. After all, he's surely not ignorant of what's statistically reported on healthcare costs in the US compared to Canada and Europe. If he was speaking honestly to the demonstrators last week, then he would have clearly made them aware that universal healthcare would help them to save thousands of dollars a year and would present these statistics as an illustration; but he [chose], deliberately (intentionally) chose, to not speak such words of fact. And that it's intentional is rather obvious; he can't possibly be ignorant of the reported comparative statistics on healthcare costs.
It's all a con game!

Learn to dscern, to "smell" con games, for you'll be fooled again and again, until you learn to "sniff'em out".
Americans, adult anyway, have no more excuse. They, we, can't claim "shame on you" against politicians for fooling us any longer. Remember the saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me again, then shame on me". Well, most adults are at the second stage and have been there for quite a long time already; just that they're so dumbed down and out that they can't tell the difference between being fooled and letting themselves be repeatedly fooled! It's long past due time for WAKING UP, folks.
