18 minutes of a must watch interview. We all must be held accountable for allowing Israel to continue with such atrocities toward their fellow human beings. As Gilbert expressed the damage done to the Israeli psyche is also terrible. Come on America call this occupation for what it is!

"I was very angry when I learned that Israeli tanks would come in front of a house and first fire a normal shell to break open the wall, then shoot a phosphorous shell into it," she said.

Husum, equally angered by the war in Gaza, lashed out at the United States which he said provided Israel with the experimental Dense Inert Metal Explosives, or DIME weapons, to test on the Palestinians.

"This weapon tears the flesh off the bone, it opens up the chest, ... it kills a lot of people," he said, adding that the "new kind of wars" like in Gaza and Israel's summer 2006 war on Lebanon were launched not to make conventional military advancements, but rather with the aim of breaking the will of the people.
He went on to predict that the next war in Lebanon would be an urban one, systematically targeting cities in order to "break society" because, as he put, "humanitarian law is dead - it's out."

"I've been a war surgeon for 30 years. I've seen a lot, but I am shocked," he said. "If the aim of the enemy is to scare us into subjugation and to put us down on our knees, then we have to stand up - we do not bend down."

I'd say that that's a perspective based on adequately observable facts; not that I could observe the events first-hand, but a distant observation from the quality reports I read about the latest Israeli aggression on Gaza, Dec. 27, 2008, to, officially anyway, Jan. 20 or 22, 2009. I say 'officially' because Israel hasn't ceased committing murders, etc., of Gazans since January; and Uruknet, and perhaps other websites, has had plenty of articles about this. I thought this was much what this Israeli aggression was really aiming for very early on, for there were very early articles reporting on the extreme aggression on Gazans in general, and relatively little aggression directly against Hamas. I also thought that that meant Israeli leadership was aiming to try to get the Gazan population to turn against Hamas; although can't say for sure that this was the or a real motive of the Israeli leadership.

Note that I said Israeli government, military (meaning the officer corps, or whatever they're called, because they're the most guilty, along with the political leadership), and leadership (meaning political leadership). This is to expressly avoid overgeneralising about the population of Israel, where there evidently are a number of good Israeli activist groups (and individuals, such as Ilan Pappe, f.e.) who are opposed to Israel's crimes against Palestinians (and, I suppose anyway, the population of Lebanon). IDF troops are also very guilty, but their senior officers are clearly, unquestionably far more guilty.

Bring America Back !!!!...........To magnify the complicity and atrocity of Gaza the World must also understand this:

WAS THE US Army Corps of Engineers, US ACE for short, doing this only before, or before and after Obama was elected U.S. President, as well as, and I guess especially, after Obama's inauguration? If it was before Obama was elected, then I don't see how he can be held responsible, as stated in the above words of TruthKnoller.

I RECALL having read about the first two of these above three points, BUT would certainly appreciate a link or links for the third point about the 'attendees', at which (?) Balls, and the attendees' dancing on graves of Gazans. This is the first time I've heard or read about that third point.

SURE, but since 'THE BUCK STOPS at the" White House administration, the US presidency, I'd think that it would also need to be fully and truthfully investigated for this criminal use of the US ACE in Israel against Palestinians, instead of only investigating the US ACE, alone. After all, the US ACE was following US presidential orders, as I understand the US presidency and C-in-C sh*t anyway.
