Mom and Hamas: Carter Back in the Middle East A recent "Saturday Night Live" skit featured an ersatz Larry King (redundant, I know) interviewing former President Jimmy Carter and chastising him for writing too many books that no one ever reads, a charge with which a reluctant Carter finally agrees. Unkind, but funny. Just in time for Mom's Day, the latest oeuvre from the compulsively prolific ex-president is "A Remarkable Mother," the story of his mother Lillian, or "Miz Lillian," as just about everyone whose path she crossed called her.

Mom and Hamas: Carter Back in the Middle East

A recent "Saturday Night Live" skit featured an ersatz Larry King (redundant, I know) interviewing former President Jimmy Carter and chastising him for writing too many books that no one ever reads, a charge with which a reluctant Carter finally agrees. Unkind, but funny.

Just in time for Mom's Day, the latest oeuvre from the compulsively prolific ex-president is "A Remarkable Mother," the story of his mother Lillian, or "Miz Lillian," as just about everyone whose path she crossed called her.
