Not just for Christmas but to remind ourselves, on World Aids Day, that more than 33 million people are infected with an entirely preventable virus. That's supposed to be good news: UNAids (the UN's HIV/Aids programme) has cut its estimates from 39.5 million last year. As December rolls around, it's time to get out the red ribbons. Not just for Christmas but to remind ourselves, on World Aids Day, that more than 33 million people are infected with an entirely preventable virus. That's supposed to be good news: UNAids (the UN's HIV/Aids programme) has cut its estimates from 39.5 million last year. The bad news is that in many parts of the world we are still doing all the wrong things.
