Iraq Veterans Against the War

Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) advocacy group of veterans and active-duty U.S. military personnel who have served since September 11, 2001. IVAW’s Right to Heal Initiative is focused on holding the U.S. government accountable for human right violations of the health of Iraqis, Afghans and U.S. veterans. IVAW currently has over 2,500 members in fifty states, as well as in Canada, Europe, and Afghanistan.

Labor Campaign for Single Payer Healthcare

The primary purpose of the Labor Campaign for Single-Payer Health Care is to increase grassroots labor support for H.R. 676 as an essential element in winning the support of Congress to enact the National Health Care Act "Medicare for All" as the public policy of this country because we believe that health care is a human right.

CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We
place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped
with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families
and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's
community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread
of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic
opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency
aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild
their lives.

The Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation is a Washington,
D.C.-based 501(c)3 non-profit, non-partisan research organization
dedicated to enhancing international peace and security in the 21st
century. The Center is funded by grants from private foundations and
the generosity of thousands of individual donors.

Center for Defense Information

Center for Defense Information (CDI) provides expert analysis on
various components of U.S. national security, international security
and defense policy. CDI promotes wide-ranging discussion and debate on
security issues such as nuclear weapons, space security, missile
defense, small arms and military transformation.

Center for Democracy & Technology

The Center for Democracy and Technology works to promote democratic
values and constitutional liberties in the digital age. With expertise
in law, technology, and policy, CDT seeks practical solutions to
enhance free expression and privacy in global communications
technologies. CDT is dedicated to building consensus among all parties
interested in the future of the Internet and other new communications

Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict (CIVIC)

Campaign for Innocent Victims in
Conflict (CIVIC) advocates on behalf of victims of armed conflict,
working to ensure they receive recognition and assistance from warring
parties. CIVIC persuaded the US Congress to establish
programs for war victims in Afghanistan and Iraq, guides victims to
assistance, brings the human cost of war to the attention of
policymakers and the public, and is advocating a new global standard of
conduct that warring parties should help where they have hurt.

Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities
is one of the nation’s premier policy organizations working at the
federal and state levels on fiscal policy and public programs that
affect low- and moderate-income families and individuals.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting ethics and accountability in government and public life by targeting government officials -- regardless of party affiliation -- who sacrifice the common good to special interests. CREW advances its mission using a combination of research, litigation and media outreach.

Civil Society Institute

The nonprofit and nonpartisan Civil Society Institute (
is a think tank that serves as a catalyst for change by creating
problem-solving interactions among people, and between communities,
government and business that can help to improve society. Since 2003,
CSI has conducted more than 20 major surveys and reports on energy and
auto issues, including vehicle fuel-efficiency standards, consumer
demand for hybrids/other highly-fuel efficient vehicles, global warming
and renewable energy.

Common Cause

Common Cause is a nonpartisan, nonprofit advocacy organization founded in 1970 by John Gardner as a vehicle for citizens to make their voices heard in the political process and to hold their elected leaders accountable to the public interest.

Corporate Accountability International

Corporate Accountability International has been waging winning
campaigns to challenge corporate abuse for more than 30 years. We were
there at the beginning of this movement to demand direct corporate
accountability to public interests and have been at its forefront ever


CorpWatch investigates and exposes corporate violations of human
rights, environmental crimes, fraud and corruption around the world. We
work to foster global justice, independent media activism and
democratic control over corporations.

Council for a Livable World

Council for a Livable World is a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit,
non-partisan advocacy organization dedicated to reducing the danger of
nuclear weapons and increasing national security. Our mission is to
advocate for sensible national security policies and to help elect
congressional candidates who support them.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971. MSF's work is based on the humanitarian principles of medical ethics and impartiality. The organization is committed to bringing quality medical care to people caught in crisis regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation.MSF operates independently of any political, military, or religious agendas.

Fair Vote

FairVote acts to transform our elections to achieve universal access to
participation, a full spectrum of meaningful ballot choices and
majority rule with fair representation for all.  As a catalyst for
change, we build support for innovative strategies to win a
constitutionally protected right to vote, universal voter registration,
a national popular vote for president, instant runoff voting and
proportional representation.

dedicated to the achievement of high-quality, affordable health care
for all Americans. Working at the national, state, and community
