| CHICAGO - July 29 - News Advisory: UNION DEMANDS GOVERNMENT INVESTIGATION OF WAL-MART "BUY AMERICAN" PROGRAM AS FALSE AND DECEPTIVE WHEN: THURSDAY, JULY 30, 1998 AT NOON WHERE: CHICAGO - NAVY PIER, FESTIVAL HALL, ROOM 207 WHO: UNION FOOD AND COMMERCIAL WORKERS INTERNATIONAL UNION (UFCW) AND FOOD AND ALLIED SERVICE TRADES DEPT., AFL-CIO (FAST) WHAT: The UFCW and FAST will issue a detailed report, which has been sent to every state attorney general and the Federal Trade Commission, documenting some of the false and deceptive aspects of Wal-Mart's much touted "Buy American" program.
