Center for Constitutional Rights to Hold Press Call to Discuss FOIA Complaint Seeking Public Disclosure of Videos of Gitmo Torture Victim

On Monday, January 9, attorneys will host a press call with reporters to discuss details of CCR's filing of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking disclosure of a week's worth of video tapes of a Guantanamo detainee who has been held without charge for nearly ten years. The suit will be filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and is being brought against the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the CIA.
