Protesters to Converge During Major Shale Gas Drilling Conference in Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, PA - On Wednesday,
November 3rd, residents from across the Marcellus region will unite in
Pittsburgh – with the DUG gas industry conference as a backdrop. While natural gas company executives gather
to discuss shale gas drilling at the David Lawrence Convention Center, residents
of Allegheny, Butler, Indiana, Washington and Westmoreland counties will raise
their voices in concern over a destructive gas drilling feeding frenzy by
Marcellus gas drilling companies.
”Pennsylvania has a total of 46,055 square

will be provided by Pittsburgh singer song writers Justin Sane of AntiFlag, Mike
Stout and the Boston band Foxglove Forager.
