good! i'm glad to see the protestors have awakened from their hypnosis that obama induced on january 20, 2009. no racist, i would call obama a neo-tom, because his race and amiable manner serve to divert the toilers from the crimes of the masters, who in 2009 are the generals and wall streeters who have the run of the plantation. under the magnolia tree sits obama, who with barely a grimace fetches them the money and weapons for their ventures. obama's election served to shield the power structure from war protests. after the people happily elected their neo-tom, they basked in self-congratulatory tributes to racial equality in america. obama voters were like the poor blacks on the south georgia farms, who in 1991 urged u.s. senators to stop their "high tech-lynching" of clarence thomas and elevate him to the u.s. supreme court. then and now, symbolism trumps substance. but, since obama is nothing but w's slightly darker cousin, nothing changed. the two solid electoral triumphs of 2006 and 2008 mattered not, as the democrats had no gumption to follow up on their mandates. now, the democrats tremble before the least popular political figure in america, dick cheney, in whose wake obama flinches and cowers. did the media ever report that cheney's opponent in the 2004 new hampshire vice presidential primary got nearly 39% of the vote? the guy had no money and had never held an office! but, somehow the "liberal media" neglected to report this rather astounding development.
