DENVER - November 17 - The American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU of Colorado will be in court Wednesday, November 18, to present arguments in a lawsuit challenging the exclusion of two Denver residents from an open-to-the-public speech by President Bush in March 2005. The ACLU lawsuit charges that Leslie Weise and Alex Young were ejected simply because they arrived at the event in a car with the bumper sticker reading "No More Blood For Oil." The U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado dismissed the case in November 2008, and the ACLU will argue that ruling should be reversed.
