Bush Pushes Midnight Regulations, Many To Last
WASHINGTON - December 23 - George W. Bush is on pace to impose more last-minute changes to federal rules than any president in history. Many consider Bush's "midnight regulations" to be a parting gift to big industry and against the greater public interest. Discussions are already underway to see if the next Congress can undo what the Bush White House has done.
