Military Families Speak Out To Participate In Protest Against Iraq War At Bush Compound In Kennebunkport, Maine

Military Families Speak Out To Participate In Protest Against Iraq War At Bush Compound In Kennebunkport, Maine
 

MAINE - August 23 -On Saturday August 25, members of Military Families Speak Out will join Veterans for Peace, Iraq Veterans against the War and other organizations at a national Rally and March for Peace in Kennebunkport, Maine, site of the Bush family’s summer residence. MFSO co-founders Nancy Lessin and Charley Richardson and MFSO Maine Chapter leader Carole Whelan will be among the MFSO members on location to participate in the protest and will be available for interviews before and during the day’s activities.

WHO
Military Families Speak Out will join Veterans’ organizations and others at The Rally and March for Peace in Kennebunkport, Maine. Rally speakers include MFSO members, Dexter Kamilewicz, whose son served for 11 months in Ramadi, Iraq with the Vermont National Guard and Carlos and Melida Arredondo of Boston, MA, who are also members of Gold Star Families Speak Out. Carlos' son, Melida's step-son, Lance Cpl. Alexander Arredondo was killed in action in Iraq on Aug. 25, 2004.

MFSO will have a tent] at the rally site- Consolidated School, 25 School Street-where members and leaders will be available for interview beginning at 9:30 a.m.
