The “Creation Museum” is set to open outside Cincinnati, OH over Memorial Day weekend. The brainchild of religious right group Answers in Genesis and its founder Ken Ham, the $27 million project seeks to “prove” young earth Creationism, which claims that the world is 6,000 years old and that human beings lived alongside dinosaurs. The Campaign to Defend the Constitution (DefCon) has launched a campaign along with allies to expose the danger this attempt to institutionalize a lie poses to our children, including a national educators petition with more than 3,000 signatures from teachers and professors from all 50 states.

The Campaign to Defend the Constitution (DefCon) is a 125,000 member national online grassroots movement to fight the growing influence of the religious right in American society.
