WASHINGTON, D.C. - March 14 - Members of Military Families Speak Out (MFSO, Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), Appeal for Redress and Veterans For Peace (VFP) to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the start of the Iraq War, call for bringing troops home now and providing the care they need when they return. On Monday, March 19 at 10:30 a.m. the groups will hold a joint press conference at the Cannon House Office Building Terrace.

Military Families Speak Out is the largest organization of military families opposing a war in the history of the United States. The group represents over 3,200 military families who oppose the U.S. military occupation of Iraq.
Iraq Veterans Against the War , founded in July, 2004, includes service members who are active duty, Guard, Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve in 41 states as well as on bases overseas including in Iraq.
Appeal for Redress is a group of over 1,700 Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard service members who have signed an appeal to Congress calling for the end of the US military occupation of Iraq.
Veterans For Peace, founded in 1985, includes Veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, the current Iraq war and other conflicts.
