PHILADELPHIA - October 18 - News Advisory:
WHAT: As the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) accepts public comments on media ownership rules, media reform and labor groups will join Philadelphia Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds- Brown to announce the introduction of a resolution urging the (FCC) to not weaken media ownership limits and to hold public hearings in Philadelphia. The resolution also calls on the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation to actively oppose media consolidation and encourage a diverse local media.
