The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities will hold a pre-Tax Day conference call briefing on Tuesday, April 11 at 1 p.m. (ET) to discuss key facts about federal taxes and federal tax policy. The call will provide an overview of recent trends in federal tax burdens, and will discuss how recent tax cuts affect different segments of the public, the federal budget deficit, and the economy.
The call will feature material from a series of new Center analyses that cover these topics, including a new examination of the federal tax gap and a short report that synthesizes (from the other analyses) the top facts of interest for this Tax Day.
After short opening remarks, the panelists will take questions.
