Bush Speech Waste of Energy

WASHINGTON - January 31 - President Bush's State of the Union speech is more wasted energy. For over five years, this president and the Republican Congress have failed the American people with their stale and backwards looking energy policies, culminating in the passage of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. In his speech this evening, Bush once again recycles his old and tired energy proposals. This is a State of the Union that only the lobbyists for nuclear power, clean coal, and oil and gas companies could love. Bush has talked about conserving energy and alternatives before, but he has yet to back up his rhetoric with real money.
