Obey-Pelosi Media Briefing Rescheduled for 4 p.m.

WASHINGTON - June 22 - House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi will join House Appropriations Committee Ranking Democrat Dave Obey in an informal media briefing on legislation to fund "America's Top Ten Obligations." This afternoon, the House will consider a unanimous consent agreement to take up the Obey bill on Thursday. "This legislation will give the House, for the first time a straight up-or-down vote-not a procedural vote-on our national priorities," said Obey.
