- July 18 - In the midst of a weak economy, Congress and the Bush administration are rewarding corporations and the wealthy with tax breaks yet again. As a token gesture to the average Americans, the Child Tax Credit amount has been increased, but shockingly, not to the families who need it the most, and who would most certainly pump those dollars back into the economy.
