Anti-War Activists Stage Massive "Die-In"
at Rockefeller Center;
Smaller Groups Throughout City Act to Disrupt
"Business As Usual"

YORK - March 25 - On Thursday, March 27th at 8am, an ad-hoc coalition
of hundreds of activists from over 35 community, student, religious
and labor organizations will "die-in" at Rockefeller Center to
protest the ongoing war on Iraq. Activists chose Rockefeller Center
as the location for this act of non-violent, civil disobedience
in order to draw attention to the media's often biased and one-sided
reporting on the conflict, and to protest corporate profiteering
from the war.
What: Non-violent,
mass civil disobedience in the form of a die-in and smaller coordinated
actions throughout the city aimed at disrupting business as usual.
Where: Rockefeller
Center: 50th Street and 5th Avenue
When: Thursday,
March 27 at 8AM.
Who: A broad,
