WASHINGTON - February 20 - News Conference 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 "What Would You Like with Your Fries?" CSPI To Release Study of Restaurant Chains' Kids' Menus The same nutrition watchdogs known for blowing the whistle on the fat content of movie theater popcorn, fettuccine Alfredo, and fast-food meals are poised to release its analysis of the kids' menus at some of America's biggest sit-down chain restaurants. The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) publishes its findings in the March issue of its Nutrition Action Healthletter and will release them at a news conference on Tuesday, Feb. 24. WHO: -- CSPI Executive Director Michael F. Jacobson -- CSPI Senior Nutritionist Jayne G. Hurley WHAT: CSPI releases results of nutrition analysis of kids' menu items from chains like Applebee's, Chili's, Outback, Red Lobster, and others. Some of the worst and some of the better foods and menus from many of those chains will be on display.
