WHAT:
Press conference Wednesday May 23, 10:30 a.m. to launch grand opening of North Americas first biodiesel fueling station. Biodiesel is a plant-based fuel made from common vegetable oils and recycled restaurant greases that is identical to ordinary diesel but causes far less air pollution and global warming emissions. San Francisco-based environmental group Bluewater Network will give away five gallons of free biodiesel per customer between 10:15 and 11:00 a.m. Anyone driving a diesel vehicle including private cars, taxis and buses is welcome to come and get free fuel.
