Israeli Air Strike Breaks Truce, Growing Casualties in Week of Violence
On Friday, after a week of violence, Israeli warplanes struck east of Al-Bureij in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least one Palestinian and wounding up to two others, medical officials said.
The strike comes after an Egyptian-brokered truce had temporarily stalled a week long surge in cross-border fire exchanges.
The latest air strike brings the Gaza death toll up to 10 over the last five days, including a 14-year-old boy. Israel launched the first strike on Gaza on Monday after an Egyptian Sinai killed an Israeli man in a cross-border clash.

Agence France-Presse: Israeli air raid on Gaza Strip 'kills Palestinian'
One Palestinian was killed and two were wounded on Friday, one seriously, when Israeli warplanes struck east of Al-Bureij in the central Gaza Strip, medics said.
An Israeli military spokeswoman would only confirm to AFP that an air strike had taken place, and did not go into detail.
Earlier on Friday, Palestinian militants in Gaza fired two rockets that hit southern Israel, without causing casualties or damage.
The violence came despite a tenuous Egyptian-brokered truce between Israel and Gaza's Hamas rulers which was announced on Wednesday evening by the Islamists' Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades military wing after a flurry of deadly exchanges in and around the territory.
