At Least 15 Protesters Arrested Outside Goldman Sachs
The New York Daily News reports:
"At least 15 Occupy Wall Street protesters were arrested Thursday after marching on Goldman Sachs to deliver an “indictment” of the financial giant.
"Among the demonstrators hauled away after sitting down in front of the multinational’s doors at 200 West St. was former New York Times foreign correspondent-turned-activist Chris Hedges."
Video here shows footage of the arrest. [Warning: strong language]
Rev. Billy, who was also among those arrested, tweeted this yesterday:
Read Chris Hedges' statement during yesterday's People’s Hearing on Goldman Sachs here.

Show AllWhy was anyone chanting "Arrest the Wrong Criminals!"
If there ever was an opportunity to use the "right" word we need to chant "ARREST THE RIGHT CRIMINALS!"... and sing "pay us or go to jail, pay us our money down".
We Are The Ninet-nine Percent!
They came marching down the street
They were banging on a drum
The banksters had all the bread
And they had not a crumb
So they joined in peaceful protest
Hoping their fair share would come
But the banksters had all the money
And the lawyers and the guns
They gathered on the common
To chant, "We're the ninety-nine percent."
And ask just how it came to pass
And where all the money went
"We don't know how to fix it
But we know the system's bent
When banksters live in palaces
And we can't pay our rent."
And the movement gained momentum
As others joined the fight
For a just reward for honest work
Surely the people have a right
And despite all the cops with plasticuffs
Still the people's voice was heard
And the fatcat banksters looked askance
Not quite so smug and self-assured.
And the movement came roaring in
And it was banging on the door
Like a mighty wave out on the ocean
That is heading for the shore
And when it breaks upon the beachhead
The sands shift like never before
And bury all the squealing banksters
And their greedy dogs of war

The pistol packin mama from Alaska, says the OWS protesters need to join the Tea Party. Well, maybe she has this one right ( pun intended ) because at least that way, they may not have been arrested!
Just wondering: Has there ever been any Tea Party protesters ever arrested ?
No, not to my knowledge. None of them have been arrested for 'protesting' at all...
Ever ask yourself why that might be?
Because ignorance is rewarded in the usa...
