Activists Protest Outside CIA Offices Against Drone Strikes
WASHINGTON: Anti-war activists held a protest march in the US capital on Saturday against drone strikes in Pakistan that they said had killed hundreds of innocent people.

outside the CIA’s headquarters in Virginia, the protesters plan to
march to former vice president Dick Cheney’s home nearby in McLean.
The CIA runs the programme that includes drone strikes at suspected terrorist targets in Fata.
The organisers said that at Mr Cheney’s residence, they would attempt a symbolic ‘citizens arrest’ of the former VP on “the charges of war crimes, crimes against humanity and other high crimes and misdemeanours.”
“We are demanding that the US immediately stop the use of drones in Pakistan,” said Robby Diesu, one of the organisers.
“Every drone that kills a terrorist suspect also kills about a 100 civilians,” he said. “And these are CIA’s own figures. It is completely unacceptable.”
The protest is part of a campaign called ‘Peace of the Action’, which is the brainchild of Peace Mom, Cindy Sheehan, who has been striving to make the concept of peace a reality since her son, Casey, was killed in Iraq in April 2004.
Ms Sheehan said the protesters plan to stay on the sidewalks and roads near Mr Cheney’s home. But some protesters may risk arrest by walking up to the house.

I am all for STOPPING the Use of Drone Plane Attacks in Pakistan, the Whole of the Middle East and Anywhere Else in the World, But, I do NOT understand why the march is going to go to DICK Cheney's house.
I get the whole citizens arrest thing, and it is what it is, but let's examine this a bit;
A. DICK Cheney is NOT VP any more - hence he is NOT Bombing Pakistan, OBAMA is the one, who within his first 2 weeks (ironically the same time he was getting selected for the PEACE prize) Obama ordered the drone plane attack into Pakistan killing about a dozen innocent Children and some women and men too, let's not forget the men, for they are also people.
B. I totally think DICK C. needs to go to prison as a WAR criminal, BUT, if you are going to send ol' DICKIE to prison, I hope you plan on having a cell right next to him for our Terrorist in Chief right now, OBAMA. He is continuing the BUSH/CHENEY Doctrine, he is ordering for a way larger supply of Drone Planes than BUSH & DICK ever had - and Obama is extending the WARS (Plural - Illegal, Undeclared by Congress) WARS.
So let's not be hypocritical here. Cheney is a WAR Criminal, but SO is OBAMA and he IS the Active WAR Criminal In Chief, so I Say Surround the White House and Place Obama under Citizens Arrest as well.
This is NOT A Democrat vs. Republican issue, for the Left/Right Paradigm is FALSE, it is a LIE to Distract and DIVIDE the AMERICAN People. They are Two Wings to the SAME EVIL Bird.

Oh, I agree with that. I am NOT saying to NOT go to Cheney's house and annoy the old BasTURD, but not to single him out and look the other way when it comes to Obama and the rest of this corrupt government.
I highly doubt Cindy is ignoring Obama because he is a Democrat. I think what she is doing is killing 2 birds with one stone. She is in Va at the CIA and Dicky is right there also. Why not go pester him too? Just let him know that we haven't forgotten about ALL the crap he pulled. Just cause he is no longer in a political position, do you think for a second, that he isn't still capable of do his evil deeds to us in the public sector? Think Blackwater. Think Exxon. Name any multi-national Corp.
The Nazi's had their Buzz-Bombs...now so do we. History will judge us harshly on this one.
I've read another drone civilian slaughter figure as high as 219 innocents killed per one bad guy. Who can know what to believe? Combine drone slaughter with crimes too gruesome to describe against innocent citizens in Honduras by a US supported dictatorship. This endless slaughter of innocents portrays to me what the US has become. When I see a picture of Obama I think of the harm our country is doing, my stomach twists in empty sadness and I avert my eyes.
