Meltdown in Florida: Long Lines, Towed Cars and Other Dirty Tricks

by Abby Zimet

The Democrats suing to extend Florida's early voting - curtailed last year by a Republican legislature - is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to  electoral chaos there. Voting sites randomly closed, reopened and closed again, people yelling "Let us vote" while standing online for seven hours and  watching their cars get towed, employers telling workers they'll lose their jobs with an Obama win, ads linking Democratics who believe in unions with Jerry Sandusky (say what?) - it's going to be a bumpy ride.
