One Billboard At A Time

by Abby Zimet

The "branding police" arriving in London to protect Olympics corporate sponsors will be met with "the biggest subvertising campaign in UK history" by Brandalism, a collective of street art guerillas that seeks to "confront the ad industry and take back our visual landscapes." Their 25 artists hit five cities, including London, in five days. Very cool.

Also: The Voice, Britain's longest-serving black newspaper, has been denied press access to the Olympics, which have been touted for their diversity. Many people are pissed.
