A man hitchiking across the country for a book he's writing tentatively titled "The Kindness of America" was shot in a random drive-by shooting near the booming Bakken oil patch near Glasgow, Montana. No, really. Ray Dolin, 39, was shot in the arm and is recovering; his reportedly drunk assailant was arrested shortly after. No word if he plans to tweak his book title.
