Coming Home: With Pot As All Else, Politics Is Personal

From Gustin Reichbach, a longtime New York State judge suffering from pancreatic cancer, a plea for palliative care that incorporates the legal use of medical marijuana as "a fundamental human and medical right." New York is now considering a bill to make it so.

"This is not a law-and-order issue; it is a medical and a human rights issue.  When palliative care is understood as a fundamental human and medical right, marijuana for medical use should be beyond controversy."
