Closing Zombie Loopholes

Citing a Center for Tax Justice study that says closing seven big corporate tax loopholes could raise $1.5 trillion, Education Votes, a public information campaign by the National Education Association, is fighting to close those loopholes and direct the money saved to badly-needed education initiatives - from good pre-schools for poor kids to Pell Grants for college students to up to half a million dollars to every school in America to help low-income kids. Petition and entertaining zombie-flavored video.

Show AllYeah. Much better to slurp it into tax havens.
...is the answer to what question?
Please give me the details of when we have ever thrown money at education. I can show you how the defense department gives out no bid contracts and I can document billions of dollars given to banks, and profitable oil companies. But down here at the local school level, we're still holding town referendums each year to get our school budgets passed ....and the locals are tight. So, please, either document you assertion or stop spreading this myth.
Ah.........then you don't really know what you are talking about.
Your entries are really worthless to people who have their critical thinking intact.
Because underfunding education has produced such spectacular results.
dwilson789 ......can I ask you where you received your education?
du-wop, du-wop mr.wilson. I am impressed that one types so well while their body is in that convorted, inverted head up the old bung hole position. Your position is well known and I am sure no matter how hard we try, you will maintain it.
Diologue between disagreeing people is what is sorely missing. The two political parties paint everyone into tiny ideoligical corners and there we are regulated to defending some aspects of our chosen party while attacking most aspects of the opposing party. Sorry for the personal attack sort-of. Years ago I felt like that both parties were playing a big game with the general populace and I still do.
Even on sites like this one and others, does it not seem obvious that some are there only to rile the other readers into posting and therefore bandwagoning on down the road to less austerity for websites...just supposing
Anyway, have a fine inverted night from a father and many frightened farm animals
Sorry, I forgot in the middle of having fun but the definition of any government performing any act that benefits the general populace is a socialist act. Military was to be an occassional thing and income taxes would be imposed to pay off the war debt. The military is a social service(albeit an abused service and before you go there I am a twice CAR Marine). Roads, education(use to be more availible) stop and think abut what the federal government is providing. Look at the cost for individual programs. It has been an amazing run of money and government and money and money.... There are so many things to talk about and we are so distracted. May your head pop right out and good night.
