Show AllThe treatment of Prisoner Manning is an outrageous insult to the Constitution, the citizens, and all of the people of the planet. This is one of the reasons we should consider Impeachment of Obama - and most of the members of Congress are no better.
How did we get here? Oh, I know - too many voted for dem/repubs. Voting has consequences.
I have voted for NADER for more than 30 years. He will be at the rally in support of Manning - along with Daniel Ellsberg.
How would impeaching Obama help against this? He would be replaced by yet another person who does exactly what's not good for the people. The USA has a much bigger issue at hand.

Does anyone still think that a vote for Nader or another 3rd party cantidate is a "wasted vote"? Nope..
I can't make it, so I'll wear my Wikileaks tee shirt to the mall
I'm sleeping naked in solidarity.
Has everyone who posts here written a letter to the editor of their local paper re:
PFC Manning's treatment? Not many people on the streets know who Manning is, or what is going on--
Primary opponents against Obama would be greatly appreciated.
Amnesty International often achieves better treatment of prisoners by wide-spread and persistent writing to prisoners and to the authorities who abuse prisoners. Everyone inside and outside the USA who opposes torture, who wants war criminals prosecuted, who favors freedom, democracy and accountable government, everyone should routinely, frequently, relentlessly, send postcards of support to Bradley Manning (since sealed mail will be opened). And express yourself routinely, frequently, relentlessly to President Obama:

"Harsh treatment." Appalling that Common Dreams is engaging in NPR-style corporatist sugarcoating of TORTURE.
