Nobody Likes Walker (Still)

Gov. Scott Walker has been met with protests wherever he goes, including a fundraiser in Washburn in Wisconsin's "North Country," which drew about 5,000 protesters, or twice the number of people who live in town. Meanwhile, the recall effort has garnered over $2 million and promising poll results. here's an earlier protest. Odd: Walker seems less than happy to be there.
"Gov. Walker, you probably can't remember me, but ... I can recall you." - a sign at Walker protest.

Show AllWalker is the face of the republican hate machine. Welcome to AmeriKKKa!!
Governor Walker repent now or go to hell like Glenn Beck. You are pissing god off.
I thought Walker would be out in Ca having his good time with the Koch brothers by now?
I bet it really hurt when the invite wasn't in the mailbox down at his publicly financed residence.
Warning Fake Headline:
Governor Walker to Resign to Become Teacher
Walker's incompetency: after 6 weeks in office, turned the state upside down, lost the war of public opinion, will have his senators recalled, he himself will be recalled in 9 months. Nice job Guv. Could you have f'd up any faster?????
The next time somebody tells you that "your vote doesn't matter" just remind them of Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio. Those people got exactly what they voted for! The next time they'll vote for a Democrat, then a Republican, then a Democrat, then a Republican and so on and so on. So the next time you hear somebody say that Americans aren't stupid, just have a good long laugh! Then get as far away from that person as you can, stupid has a tendency of rubbing off!
I was at that protest. I was not surprised that the worst looking vehicle going to the Rock Garden was a KI Convention Center staff car. Got flipped off by some old rich phucks. lol It was awesome to see the show of support for the workers by the police and fire crews even though Walker's "budget" leaves them alone for now. The police were very professional and helpful and even lectured a couple event attendees for their imprudent speed through the protest zone. :)
Walker is toast. I laugh when I hear the right wingers go on and on about that only 150000 people out of 5 million in the state are protesting in Madison and that that makes the Walker detractors the small minority. By that leap of illogic I can safely say that most people in WI are not Packer fans as the games only attract 70000 or so every week. Walker can't be recalled fast enough for my taste. I have heard some rumblings that the Republicans are planning on revamping the recall rules so they cannot be recalled unless they are convicted of a felony. So much for the consent of the governed. If that scenario does happen, I am afraid there will be violence. As John F Kennedy so eloquently stated, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
Bad luck and ill will to you Scott Walker.
All power to the workers of Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and beyond. Now why wait for these pigs to pull another trick out of the bag?? They seem to revel in rule changes so why not up the game now with a militant general strike? Many have given their lives for the right to organize. Put out a SOS for workers across the USA.
I can't help think of an ancient quote I came across in my travels - ostensibly made by Solon, the lawgiver of ancient Athens about the people of Athens concerning the tyrant Pisistratus - but applicable to most of our selected leaders: "You yourselves have made these men great by giving them support, and that is why you have fallen into evil slavery. Each of you walks with the step of a fox, but taken all together your mind is vain. For you look to the tongue and the words of a crafty man, and you do not see the deed which is being done."
Nothing much seems to have changed in the human condition in 4000 years.
