While I agree that abortion legalization is a bit of a stretch to connect it to the Tucson killings, I have to laugh!
Connecting the Tucson killings to Iraq & Afghanistan is just as much a stretch.

If you're going to discuss the Tucson shooting, fine, discuss it.
If you're going to discuss abortion, fine, discuss it.

But, neither topic is really about the wars.

I agree to a point . Abortion does make life less valuable in people's minds , but that has no direct impact on the Tuson shootings nor does the right to own guns. It was a crazy person that should have had help with his mental problems . The local law inforcement had had contact with him several times , and you can be held for 72 hours for mental evaluation in that state. It seems to me they sould have had at least one officer there to help with traffic and crowd control.
