Many Americans who oppose a mosque near ground zero are arguing, in effect, that ALL muslims share responsibility for 9-11. All 1.6 billion of them. This 'they all look the same' argument is easier to see when it is applied against Americans: That American church that wants to burn Koran's, is being represented by radical Taliban islamists as indicative of ALL Americans, cuz, don't ya know, 'they all look the same'. So, they are theatening a terror attack, after which ALL Muslims will be blamed. And so it goes.

Wish the sane amongst us could just tune the 'saved' out. It would be easier if they weren't so dangerously unstable, and armed.

Hate begins at a church near you where one is taught moral superiority to all that worship all of the OTHER phony gods. Somewhere in the cosmic future: Beck and Jones are sitting in a nice waiting room, and in comes this cool dude who says, "Hey guys, been waiting for you. You can call me JC. Come with me." So, they follow JC out a door and enter into a virtual paradise, birds are singing, it is not hot, not cold, babbling brooks are everywhere. JC says, "See all of these trees loaded with fruit, take what you want, when you want. And no need to store any, the fruit will always be here." Beck and Jones see all kind of people, just hanging around, talking and laughing, everyone looks so happy. Then JC says, "OK guys, I will leave you now, but you two just walk around until you find someplace you want to settle down, then I will contact you later and set you up with a contractor to build you a house." So JC leaves and Beck and Jones start looking for a homestead.

A little later, both Beck and Jones find suitable areas to build their new houses, of course near a babbling brook and fruit orchid. But, some of the other people there come over and demand to know who they are and what they are doing. So Beck and Jones relate what JC had told them. The people laughed at Beck and Jones and said, "Fuck JC! He don't mean nothing to us. We do not like the way you look, get the fuck away."

So, Beck and Jones took off for fear that some trouble might start. The two of them sat near a brook and decided to drink some water, but when they drank, the water tasted like gasoline. So, they picked some fruit, but when they tried to eat, the fruit tasted worse than an unripe lemon.

Beck and Jones were wondering when JC would show up again and straighten everything out, but JC was busy showing Rush and Sean around...........

I was thinking it might be fun to organize an equal opportunity religious book burning ceremony, sort of ironically in line with those COEXIST bumper stickers.

We could burn one bible, one Koran, one Torah, one Atlas Shrugged, one book of Mormon, one (whatever book the Scientologists fancy), a copy of The God Delusion, etc. It could be a sort of interfaith coming together thing with a big pot luck to demonstrate that belief is bigger than books.
