One of the problems is that they make up a euphemism, "water boarding." Sounds nice, like boogie boarding. Let's hit the beach and go water boarding this weekend!

It should be called "controlled suffocation." That's what it is. They saturate a pile of towels with water and smother the victim, who is immobilized on a table. He can't breathe. He passes out, they start again. They monitor his vital signs to keep him alive, but in the most horrible torment imaginable. The major media says, "simulated drowning." No, it's real drowning, but calibrated.

Words matter. They can get away with this kind of madness due to complicity of media to even USE such euphemisms. Call it what it is, controlled suffocation.

Next year, I'm leaving America forever. Unlike many of you on CD, I see us (US) going down, hard. Not redeemable. The major villain of the world stage. Like MLK said, the largest purveyor of violence in the world. And, this includes environmental violence. The whole world knows it, but most Americans remain blissfully unaware.
