GOP: Pre-Existing Condition
The Congressional Budget Office has concluded that under the GOP amendment to the House health care bill, the number of uninsured Americans would increase, as would premiums. In fact, if taxpayers weren't paying the bill, GOP leaders would probably not be able to afford insurance under their own proposal.
"The six men and one woman in the Republican House leadership have an average age of 52, and as a group are more susceptible to cardiovascular disease, different cancers, high blood pressure, and host of other chronic diseases. The Republican health alternative would allow insurers to discriminate against these conditions and price the Republican leaders out of the market."

Show AllTHE GOP and Conservatives are a PRE_EXISTING CONDITION...
very dangerous, cancerous, deadly, viciously parasitical, virulent, unredeemable, incurable disease...
GOP and their conservatism ought to be excised - no need to preserve the cancerous lot in formaldehyde...too dangerous to allow to exist.
I thought you had to have a heart to get cardiovascular disease?
I read an interesting article a while back where the author said that eventually the Health insurance companies would end up putting themselves out of business, because of the need for ever increasing profits. Premiums would keep going up and what they would cover would be less and less every year until people would realize it was no longer worth buying.
At first I thought that was ridiculous, but as this thing continues to play out I think he may have something to his theory. Maybe that is another reason for the mandate forcing people to buy health insurance. Just a way to keep the unsustainable system going for a while longer. Just like the bailouts were to the banks.
Don't kid yourself - with all the lobbying money (BRIBES) these self-serving legislators accept from a multitude corporations, they'll be able to afford whatever the cost of their insurance would be!!!!!!!!!!
Why are we even covering these Raygunites, medically OR journalistically?
If we're worried about premiums going up, the same thing is going to happen under this crap bill that Obama will most likely sign. Neither side is working on behalf of the people. So the Dem bill is garbage and the Repub bill is a joke. But this story that will permeate the MSM will drive the uninformed masses to support Pelosi and Gang, when they should be demanding real reform and not stop demanding it.
thats the way samalabear
make it seem like there is no difference between the two
then the repubs can get back in power and finish the job of completely destroying the country
that's john boner from ohio.
I think John Bonner's tanning bed should be considered a pre-existing condition.
Don't forget his alcohol and toe tapping in airport bathrooms.
