Amnesia Central: And We Can't Remember Why This Man Is Not in Jail
At least Cheney's consistent. Here he is, lying again, this time in records of his FBI interview on the Valerie Plame-CIA leak, wherein he said a wide-eyed, astonishing 72 (seventy-two!) times that he couldn't remember anything, including, presumably, who he ate for dinner last night. What will it take for this guy to get indicted? Maybe this will help: Mother Jones documents 22 key things you'd think he could remember that he plumb "forgot."

Show AllHe should be doing the final Mussolini dance.
I agree with ppeters, there is no proper expletive that can do justice to how politically evil Cheney is, but the Greek word politics probably comes the closest; poli in Greek means many and tics means blood, sucking leeches! No doubt, the blood sucking leech, Cheney was complicit in 911 and helped to murder almost 3,000 of our fellow citizens.
Why does this need a preview?
Dick "Whips and" Cheney is some kind of memory loss dawg!

This is called by many in the legal community the "Ronald Reagan" defense. Unless one has physical proof of an occurance asking the perpetrator if he/she remembers doing it---is ludacris, except in cases where the prosecution makes a deal---then the perpetrator can remember things that even didn't happen---but that is another matter.
The same 'ecnefed' (that's defense spelled backwards) and pronounced 'icnefid'---(sounds real good to the Republican appointed Appellate Judges that will eventually reduce, or overturn or otherwise mitigate the trial by jury verdict-----(which is exactly what they are there for)---so what is the point anyway of asking 'Little Dickey' anything other than his name?
Now, if they truly want some results. Take that 'professional criminal' and his 'lap monkey' (little G.W.) before the International court of Justice, and see 'which one makes a deal first'.
GW Bush and Dick Cheney both have admitted to crimes in public or the knowledge of crimes committed by others who were under their direct command. Every single member who participated, from top command to the water bearer---are guilty of the same crimes that the USA stood in judgment of others just sixty years ago. The world could not allow that those crimes go unanswered.
Otherwise, the world just may do it for the USA----after they have been partitioned, and many other major changes that most Americans can't even imagine---much less hope to survive.
And the USA will have brought it all down upon themselves.
As for 'me and my' people. We, the Native Americans are the few people on the planet that can say we survived the Americans; we can survive anything they just made us stronger.
"If the USA were another nation the USA would invade the USA to keep the world safe; and they would be justified."
What is worse? The Obama administration covering his shit up so they can do it too, which is really pretty much expected of all governments to continue to exercise any power they accumulate, or the media treating Cheney like a hero whenever they interview him, giving him legitimacy to millions of viewers, instead of treating him like the evil and vile piece of scum he is?
Tell us about the anthrax, Dick.
Well if Henry Kissinger can get a Nobel Peace Price, why not Cheney? Cheney is just an up-dated version of Henry K.
He is not in jail because......the news media thinks everyone wants to keep seeing his face and listening to his news.
I know it does not matter one iota to the people at Common Dreams, but I am about to delete you from my news folder.
The world is just plain unfair. Lately I have had to say this phrase from the Serenity Prayer very often: "Taking this world as He did, not as I would have it." It is the only way I can keep from screaming.
I sit here transcribing plea bargains and prison sentences for often fairly small drug offenses -- prison sentences, yes. Many of these people -- not all -- but a large proportion are simply trapped in a really bad no-win situation. Often they need help, but that doesn't happen in prison.
And then there's people like Cheney and Gonzales, another one with serious "memory problem" -- to name two of these major criminals. It gets more disgusting everyday. Didn't Obama meet recently with Cheney? I thought I read that a couple of months back. It was during the last cycle of Cheney climbing out of his dark basement and hitting the airwaves. I wouldn't say it was a WTF moment for me, though, because I wouldn't expect anything less from Obama.
We need some Watergate-style air-for-the-public. Or maybe not. I wonder if the public would even tune in, or are we so disaffected by all the rampant criminality in our government?
"...What will it take for this guy to get indicted?..."
- The Democrats would have to stop protecting him, and move to prosecute.
So, he's pretty safe.
The Dems might do that if they saw more signs of noncooperation from their base.
The democrats are not going to do anything about the war criminals. Because, the deal is in. The demos are saying don't do anything about my administration and I won't do anything about yours. So this will go on until the end of time. People has got to vote everything up there out. Then anytime you see one on the street whip his ass until he understands what the people mean.
Maybe some forced stress positions and a little waterboarding session will jog his memories?

I repeat: cheney is a lying sack of shit.
I don't think you are being fair to fecal matter.
