Most notable revelations in the newly released Senate intelligence committee report on torture: the fact that Condoleezza Rice played a much larger role in approving torture than she has admitted; the steadfast refusal of the administration to heed multiple opposing views that torture was legally and morally unacceptable; the trail (at last) showing that "senior officials...redefined the law to create the appearance of their legality."
