Clean Energy Experts Release New Roadmap to Curb Global Warming
Findings show needed CO2 reductions can be achieved with efficiency, renewables |

WASHINGTON - January 29 - ASES and the Sierra Club are teaming up to release this important ASES report that lays out a strategy for reducing U.S. global warming pollution by 60-80% by 2050. The Sierra Club will adopt the report’s findings as a pivotal component of its energy policy and roadmap for tackling global warming. The report, "Tackling Climate Change in the U.S.," is authored by an array of leading national experts in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. Brought together by ASES for this report, the group has created landmark research for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rocky Mountain Institute, and other institutions.
