Farm Animal Forum and Rally - Advocating for Change; Farm Sanctuary's Activist Conference Comes to Boston
WASHINGTON -- February 8 -- News Advisory: Be an active participant in the nation's leading efforts to rescue and protect farmed animals at Farm Sanctuary's popular Farm Animal Forum. Join noted speakers on animal protection issues, including Gene Bauston of Farm Sanctuary, Holly Cheever D.V.M. of AVAR and NYSHA, Brenda Davis R.D., noted vegan nutritionist, Michael Greger M.D., Farm Sanctuary's chief investigator on mad cow disease, lauren Ornelas of VIVA! USA and Wayne Pacelle of HSUS. Watch video presentations, enjoy gourmet vegetarian cuisine and browse exhibit tables. Then join us on Monday, March 14 for a rally at the state Capitol to raise awareness about factory farming issues and urge passage of pending humane legislation.
WHEN: Forum - Sunday, March 13; Rally - Monday, March 14
WHERE: All Forum events will take place at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, 110 Huntington Avenue. The Rally will occur on the front steps of the Massachusetts State Capitol.
COST: Forum attendance is $45 per person and includes a vegan lunch and evening "Cowtail Party" social with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. Monday's Rally is open to the public.
