Study Conducted by Princeton University Expert for Rutgers-Newark Law School

NEWARK, NJ - October 17 - A report released today in a four-year lawsuit spearheaded by the Constitutional Litigation Clinic at Rutgers School of Law-Newark and the law firm Patton Boggs-Newark shows that approximately 10,000 voting machines used in 18 out of the 21 counties in New Jersey can be manipulated to throw an election. ACLU Demands Halt to Intimidation of Lawful Voters

Bogus Voter Fraud Allegations Are Part of Voter Suppression Strategy

CLEVELAND - October 16 - In order to protect the integrity of Ohio's elections, the American Civil Liberties Union today called on the Ohio Republican Party to stop intimidating lawful voters. On Wednesday, the party asked all of the state's 88 county Boards of Elections to hand over information about all newly registered voters and those who have legally registered and cast an absentee ballot on the same day. These records will likely be used to challenge innocent voters, according to the ACLU.

Ohio Files Appeal to Supreme Court on Voter Registration Data

Experts say a federal order in an election-law suit could result in the casting of more provisional ballots. Jennifer Brunner, Ohio’s secretary of state, has fought the suit. (Alex Wong/Getty Images)

Ohio's attorney general filed an emergency appeal to the U. S. Supreme Court late Wednesday night seeking to block a lower court decision that could cost many thousands of Ohio voters a chance to cast a regular ballot Nov. 4.

The battleground state already has become the setting for a series of lawsuits over voter eligibility. About 660,000 new voters have registered since January with an edge to Democrats.

Why the Media Can't See the Trees for the ACORNs

John McCain and other Republicans making criminal allegations against the community-organizing group ACORN know exactly what they're doing. They're using alarmist allegations of "voter fraud" to fire up their conservative base and suppress the votes of some citizens who may, out of fear, stay away from the polls.
