Peter Hallward teaches at the center for research in modern European philosophy at Kingston University London, and is a member of the Education Activist Network. His book on The Will of the People is forthcoming from Verso in 2012. He is also the author of Damming the Flood: Haiti, Aristide, and the Politics of Containment
