Anasuya Sengupta

Anasyua Sengupta is Regional Director for Asia/Oceania, at the Global Fund for Women, an international network of people committed to a world of equality and social justice. The Fund makes grants to support women's groups around the world. Ms. Sengupta has worked with organizations such as UNICEF and DAWN (Development Alternatives for Women in a New Era) to actively stop violence against women and children, national and regional religious and cultural fundamentalisms, and help to create gender equality.
