The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder
There is direct evidence that President George W. Bush did not honorably lead this nation, but deliberately misled it into a war he wanted. Bush and his administration knowingly lied to Congress and to the American public -- lies that have cost the lives of more than 4,000 young American soldiers and close to $1 trillion.
A Monumental Lie
In his first nationally televised address on the Iraqi crisis on October 7, 2002, six days after receiving the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), a classified CIA report, President Bush told millions of Americans the exact opposite of what the CIA was telling him -a monumental lie to the nation and the world.
On the evening of October 7, 2002, the very latest CIA intelligence was that Hussein was not an imminent threat to the U.S. This same information was delivered to the Bush administration as early as October 1, 2002, in the NIE, including input from the CIA and 15 other U.S. intelligence agencies. In addition, CIA director George Tenet briefed Bush in the Oval Office on the morning of October 7th.
According to the October 1, 2002 NIE, "Baghdad for now appears to be drawing a line short of conducting terrorist attacks with conventional or CBW [chemical and biological warfare] against the United States, fearing that exposure of Iraqi involvement would provide Washington a stronger case for making war." The report concluded that Hussein was not planning to use any weapons of mass destruction; further, Hussein would only use weapons of mass destruction he was believed to have if he were first attacked, that is, he would only use them in self-defense.
Preparing its declassified version of the NIE for Congress, which became known as the White Paper, the Bush administration edited the classified NIE document in ways that significantly changed its inference and meaning, making the threat seem imminent and ominous.
In the original NIE report, members of the U.S. intelligence community vigorously disagreed with the CIA's bloated and inaccurate conclusions. All such opposing commentary was eliminated from the declassified White Paper prepared for Congress and the American people.
The Manning Memo
On January 31, 2003, Bush met in the Oval Office with British Prime Minister Tony Blair. In a memo summarizing the meeting discussion, Blair's chief foreign policy advisor David Manning wrote that Bush and Blair expressed their doubts that any chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons would ever be found in Iraq, and that there was tension between Bush and Blair over finding some justification for the war that would be acceptable to other nations. Bush was so worried about the failure of the UN inspectors to find hard evidence against Hussein that he talked about three possible ways, Manning wrote, to "provoke a confrontation" with Hussein. One way, Bush said, was to fly "U2 reconnaissance aircraft with fighter cover over Iraq, [falsely] painted in UN colors. If Saddam fired on them, he would be in breach" of UN resolutions and that would justify war. Bush was calculating to create a war, not prevent one.
Denying Blix's Findings
Hans Blix, the United Nation's chief weapons inspector in Iraq, in his March 7, 2003, address to the UN Security Council, said that as of that date, less than 3 weeks before Bush invaded Iraq, that Iraq had capitulated to all demands for professional, no-notice weapons inspections all over Iraq and agreed to increased aerial surveillance by the U.S. over the "no-fly" zones. Iraq had directed the UN inspectors to sites where illicit weapons had been destroyed and had begun to demolish its Al Samoud 2 missiles, as requested by the UN. Blix added that "no evidence of proscribed activities have so far been found" by his inspectors and "no underground facilities for chemical or biological production or storage were found so far." He said that for his inspectors to absolutely confirm that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction (WMD) "will not take years, nor weeks, but months."
Mohamed ElBaradei, the chief UN nuclear inspector in Iraq and director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, told the UN Security Council that, "we have to date found no evidence or plausible indication of the revival of a nuclear weapon program in Iraq."
The UN inspectors were making substantial progress and Hussein was giving them unlimited access. Why was Bush in such an incredible rush to go to war?
Hussein Disarms, so Bush ... Goes to War
When it became clear that the whole purpose of Bush's prewar campaign -- to get Hussein to disarm -- was being (or already had been) met, Bush and his people came up with a demand they had never once made before -- that Hussein resign and leave Iraq. On March 17, 2003, Bush said in a speech to the nation that, "Saddam Hussein and his sons must leave Iraq within 48 hours. Their refusal to do so will result in military conflict." Military conflict -- the lives of thousands of young Americans on the line -- because Bush trumped up a new line in the sand?
The Niger Allegation
One of the most notorious instances of the Bush administration using thoroughly discredited information to frighten the American public was the 16 words in Bush's January 28, 2003 State of the Union speech: "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." The Niger allegation was false, and the Bush administration knew it was false.
Joseph C. Wilson IV, the former ambassador to Iraq, was sent to Niger by the CIA in February 2002 to investigate a supposed memo that documented the sale of uranium yellowcake (a form of lightly processed ore) to Iraq by Niger in the late 1990s. Wilson reported back to the CIA that it was "highly doubtful" such a transaction had ever taken place.
On March 7, 2003, Mohamed ElBaradei told the UN Security Council that "based on thorough analysis" his agency concluded that the "documents which formed the basis for the report of recent uranium transactions between Iraq and Niger are in fact not authentic." Indeed, author Craig Unger uncovered at least 14 instances prior to the 2003 State of the Union address in which analysts at the CIA, the State Department, or other government agencies that had examined the Niger documents "raised serious doubts about their legitimacy -- only to be rebuffed by Bush administration officials who wanted to use them."
On October 5 and 6, 2002, the CIA sent memos to the National Security Council, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, and to the White House Situation Room stating that the Niger information was no good.
On January 24, 2003, four days before the president's State of the Union address, the CIA's National Intelligence Council, which oversees all federal agencies that deal with intelligence, sent a memo to the White House stating that "the Niger story is baseless and should be laid to rest."
The 9/11 Lie
The Bush administration put undue pressure on U.S. intelligence agencies to provide it with conclusions that would help them in their quest for war. Bush's former counterterrorism chief, Richard Clarke, said that on September 12, 2001, one day after 9/11, "The President in a very intimidating way left us -- me and my staff -- with the clear indication that he wanted us to come back with the word that there was an Iraqi hand behind 9/11."
Bush said on October 7, 2002, "We know that Iraq and the Al Qaeda terrorist network share a common enemy -- the United States of America. We know that Iraq and Al Qaeda have had high level contacts that go back a decade," and that "Iraq has trained Al Qaeda members in bomb-making and poisons and deadly gasses." Of Hussein, he said on November 1, 2002, "We know he's got ties with Al Qaeda."
Even after Bush admitted on September 17, 2003, that he had "no evidence" that Saddam Hussein was involved with 9/11, he audaciously continued, in the months and years that followed, to clearly suggest, without stating it outright, that Hussein was involved in 9/11.
On March 20, 2006, Bush said, "I was very careful never to say that Saddam Hussein ordered the attack on America."
Vincent Bugliosi received his law degree in 1964. In his career at the L.A. County District Attorney's office, he successfully prosecuted 105 out of 106 felony jury trials, including 21 murder convictions without a single loss. His most famous trial, the Charles Manson case, became the basis of his classic, Helter Skelter, the biggest selling true-crime book in publishing history. The Prosecution of George W. Bush For Murder is available May 27.

Show AllThis question was ask, "So, Mr. Bugliosi has laid out the case. When does the action come?" Here is the one word answer, "NEVER"
Here is the major problem with having to wait until G.W.Bush is out of office to be able to charge him for the crimes he has committed. If Bush believes there is a real chance that he will be arrested and charged with the crimes he has committed then he most likely will never leave office. We, the American people, have allowed him to get laws passed that makes it so easy for him to become dictator of this country and I have no doubt that is what he will do to prevent anyone from being able to arrest him for any thing.
So I warn you that if there is a really serious move to arrest and try Bush for the crimes he has committed he will not leave office and that will leave us with only one way to remove him from office and we are going to need the full support of our armed forces to be able to that. So the question is, Will the soldiers of our armed forces continue to support this corrupt government or will they support the people. Pray that we will support the people, but to be honest I doubt that they will.
Bugliosi is mostly right, but 9/11 was not the first attack on American soil in American history. That honor should probably go to the Brits in the War of 1812, who brushed aside defenders quite as incompetent as our own Bush 2 crowd, took Washington, burned it to the ground, and hurt many Americans in the process. The president was James Madison. Congress soon investigated the incident, but carefully refrained from expressing any opinion or imputing any blame. What else is new? It's all in the book by Henry Adams, "History of the United States/1809-1817."
When do the Charges get filed? Why is it taking so long, everyone here has wanted this for 6-8 years! We have the video, e-mails, witnesses, crimes, and the truth but those who CAN won't. Could this be a Class Action? Can the People start this ball rolling? Where do we start. Where can we donate? Can The People hire Bugliosi? You all know we can't depend on the mealy-mouthed cowards in Congress. Well, what do you think Mr. Bugliosi? Will you take this on?
I'm not planning on moving to Canada. I'm already here. The problem is that the Conservative minority government here is led by a wannabe neocon, Stephen Harper (whom Bush refers to as "Steve" -- he's the only one who calls him Steve).
I've read Bugliosi's book, and have no doubt that Bush could be tried federally or by any state for the crime of murder. Bugliosi even goes through the cross-examination of Bush (Bush would look pretty guilty if he didn't take the stand in his own defense), an it's not pretty for Dubya. Just about anything he might say would back him into a corner.
Anyway, it's nice to know that I'm not the only person in the world who can see that the emperor has no clothes on. I think it's interesting that many people here see the JFK/RFK/MLK assassinations, the JFK Jr. crash/assassination, September 11 (I don't like to use 9/11 because it tends to trivialize the events), and the Afghan and Iraq wars as part of the same despicable chain of events--with the common thread of GHW Bush and his dysfunctional family, starting with Dubya's grandfather.
I'm also happy to see that Reagan worship doesn't seem to exist here. Ketchup for all!!
I am glad someone is finally defining the deception and criminal culpability of Bush in this war; saying what many have thought for so long. If you have read any of Mr. Bugliosi's books you know that his clinical analysis of subjects is beyond compare. This book has been blacked out by the mainstream media; although he will be on C-SPAN2's bookTV Sunday July 13 at 4:15AM ET.
Long post ahead, y'all have been warned... ;)
This is a great book, but you know, the thing I keep thinking is that I knew almost a DECADE ago just how bad George W. Bush was (and so did the people who would read this site in the first place, I expect.) But the specific reason why *I* knew this is that I investigated vote fraud in Tennessee in the 2000 election. When I first started doing this (in November 1999), I'll never forget how weird it felt; it was like I was the ONLY one who knew that something terrible was going on, and the people walking around on the street all around me just had no idea. Of course, I wasn't the only one who knew and wanted to find out more; the NAACP definitely wanted to know, which is why the Tennessee chapter held a huge meeting on the subject only a few days after the election to start recording information about the many, many, many allegations of voter disenfranchisement among African-Americans in our state. A press release was sent to all major papers in Tennessee-- well, guess who printed it? The Tennessee Tribune (the major African-American paper) and Urban Flavor (one of the alternative AA papers.) Everyone else, EVERY other news source, just ignored it. The Urban League was also quite interested in the subject, as was the SEIU and the local UAW chapter at the Saturn plant. American Progressive, American Liberal, and the scholarly journal Southern Exposure all printed articles because *I* wrote and sent them; ditto with Alternet (Bite the Ballot, one of my pieces, is still in the archives, actually.) Not that there's anything particularly special about me, but after the untold hours I put into this, all the abuse I received, all the threats I got including death threats with specific time, place, and weapon, some credit is always nice. :)
The general media was so inexcusably dismissive of the massive mountains of allegations of vote fraud that all favored George W. Bush that it still seems unbelievable. Nobody will ever know exactly what happened in that election, but the atmosphere of "who cares, Gore is a sore loser" presented and nurtured by the media is what helped to ensure the very fact that we'll never know. Honestly, that did nothing but foreshadow the way the media has treated anything related to Bush all along (obviously, this exempts a source like Common Dreams.) This is one of the things that Bugliosi does such a great job of pointing out. The American people aren't dumb. But it's very hard for the vast majority to see any other way of understanding things if EVERY single mainstream media source of any kind whatsoever-- and not even dragging in Rush and his ilk, either-- is saying one thing, presenting one point of view, and behaving as if no alternate POV could even exist.
So all in all, the only problem with the book, I think, is that I want him to give people like me and us more credit!!@ We knew what Bush was ALL ALONG, when everyone else was bleating how great he was. When Bush had a 90% approval rating, WE were the ten percent. When invading Afghanistan was approved by 94% of the American public, hey, guess who the 6% were... could it be US??? However, the main reason I thought that invasion was such a bad idea may or not be the same reason others had. I knew what an incompetent moron and loser Bush was, and I had absolutely no confidence that he'd do what he said he was going to do, which to capture Bin Laden. And he didn't. I thought he'd just end up going in there and making a mess that would come back to haunt us later. And he did.
However, the really interesting thing this book ends up getting across is that you don't have to be any kind of a liberal to realize just how bad Bush is. Conservative Republicans *should* be more horrified than anyone else; as Barry Goldwater correctly points out, the Bush cabal is made up of people who could hardly be further from a genuine definition of conservatism OR Republicanism. I suspect that few people would really 100% fit the definition of liberal, conservative, or mushy middle anyway. For example, I've known how bad Bush is for almost ten years, I don't think Reagan has turned into a saint just because he's dead, and I don't have anything good to say about any flavor of Republicanism at all. I'm a good old-fashioned bleeding heart liberal, but I'm also a very old-school Democrat, which means that I believe in FDR-style big government! :) And when it comes to law and order, to tell y'all the truth, I'm pretty much where Bugliosi himself is, which is mighty conservative indeed. I'm not an anarchist by any manner of means. I don't drink alcohol, smoke pot, or use drugs (except for Ritalin! Don't take away my Ritalin! ;) I'm a complicated mess of liberal and conservative and everything in-between, and I suspect that the same is true of all of us. So I can come together with you, and you, and you, and all of the individual you's that come together to make up America. If there is any one message to take from Bugliosi's book, it's that a people really can and should decide to do this.
Also, there's a very good reason why this book is FAR from old news. It's old news for US, because we've known all along. But look at how many people still have no idea about any of the facts presented in this book, and even how many STILL think that Bush is a good president!! We need to not forget this. But in time, things can and do turn around. Maybe the most interesting point Bugliosi makes in the entire book is that Pinochet was finally tried for his crimes in Chile fully THIRTY years after he committed them. We all know that nobody would try Bush for murder *now* or a year from now, but five, ten years from now... well, anything could happen. So let's all take heart! :)
Yawn....
Sorry for the skepticism however, the time for talking has long passed. The question has been and will always be, when do WE as Americans take action?

How can you relate this great story about this Godzilla thing, which explains a lot, and then just leave us all hanging! Why should we believe this? What are your references??? Where/how did you find out about this? PLEASE EXPLAIN!!
One way of getting this message out beyond the liberal choir is to join a peace vigil with some of this information on a sign. My favorite peace vigil sign, which gets honks of approval from the general public driving by in Dover, New Hampshire, is:
"NO LIES
NO WAR"
That seems to rather succinctly summarize much of what is in this article and the comments. I invite people everywhere to take this message to their local peace vigils.
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

I have a major problem with the guy that wrote this. Being is that he went along with the miscarriage of justice called the Manson trial. Anyone who would claim justice was done in a trial where the jury was told the president says the defendant is guilty, does not make me feel I could trust them. As for his article on Bush I agree but unless this can be posted by a major world media source in America on a national scale it is meaningless. Since all major media is under complete control of the Bush crime family, this will just be a exciting song for the LIBERAL CHOIR.

"There is no "rule of law" in the USA. The law exists merely to control the masses, not the powerful. Bush and his allies are guilty of war crimes on a mass scale and Congress, for refusing to impeach and jail these murders, these traitors, are complicit in these crimes. Shame on Congress. Shame on America. One million Iraqis dead. Jesus Christ, what has this country become?"
What this country has become is ruled by psychopaths who are cunning enough to construct a "mask of sanity". These creatures have no conscience. No sense of empathy. Imagine doing whatever you think will get you what you want and nary a twinge to ever make you lose sleep over it. THAT is what we are dealing with. And what they want is total control over all resources and labour to utilize those resources for their personal benefit. We will be the unwashed masses that serve the elite. The pieces are being put into place, but we are currently mesmerized by the pieces. We are not seeing the larger picture. This is be design, of course. Our entire capitalist society favours, and rewards the traits considered to be psychopathic.
It's estimated that only 6% of the population may be considered essentially psychopathic. They can, however influence and sway another 12 to 16% of the population. 20% seems to be enough to corrupt a society's fabric. Notice any resemblance Bush's recent poll numbers? There's that 28% or so of true believers and /or conscience-less profiteers.
There's so much to be done to take back this world for the normal people, but the first thing is to educate yourself. All the marches and demonstrations won't do any good unless you truly KNOW YOUR ADVERSARY. You cannot cure what you don't understand.

Rich Griffin, why not contact Bugliosi and ask him to step up to the plate? He is toward the end of career so he would not ruin a career by taking this on, he has a well known name.....after the election is prime time, won't be competing for media coverage--from November to the first week in January. Why Boston? Why not Philladelphia where the important documents were drafted, and the Liberty Bell resides?
Not only Bush but also Pelosi and Reid must be indicted for war crimes and tried by the same tribunal prosecuting Bush & Cheney. Pelosi and Reid have both allowed and authorized Bush to continue his war by keeping its funding in a cynical ploy to extend Democratic majorities in congress in 2006 and 2008.
Before this happens, however, Pelosi and Reid must themselves be impeached for high crimes against the US Constitution, a constitution they have failed to uphold by, among several other violations, not impeaching Bush & Cheney, and not stopping an illegal occupation of a foreign country.
I thought you'd like to check out the political allegory of mine that I just found a literary agent for. It's a story set in the context of a teacher discussing with his class all of the evidence that the Bush administration is as corrupt as it is incompetent....and how to rectify the Constitutional crisis we face. It's couched in a discussion about the urgent need to stop abusing Mother Nature. I wrote in 3 dozen celebrities to play the students, so it's very funny despite how infuriating it is. You can read it at www.stoplittering.com/theswitch.htm and, yes, StopLittering.com is my site.
The fact that Henry Kissinger is still running around grunting and snorting his gibberish proves that war criminals are not indicted and prosecuted in the US. When I designed and built blast furnaces for melting metal and casting objects (which was fun), I ran propane tanks at full blast in a 6 inch thick high temp refractory walled 55 gallon drum....it two hours I could not melt steel and I ran out of propane. Anyone who says the fires from the planes and their 'impact on the building caused severe structural damage' don't know shit from shinola....nor do they know how powerful simple wind blowing against such a huge structure is. The planes were nothing, the fires were nothing....but the explosives....that was something.
War crimes and crimes against humanity is what the GOP and and WH has actively engaged in for seven years now. Fortunately for them, the brainwashed minds of republican voters from decades of propaganda issued from the GOP makes it impossible to differentiate between the ringing of the bell and their salivating thinking they are getting 'conservative' healthy food and the fact that they have become essentially Pavlov's dogs......but even with Pavlov's dogs, the torrential rains and subsequent flooding of his laboratories in Russia immediately extinguished the conditioning of the brainwashed minds of his dogs due to the trauma of the floods. So it will be with the so-called 'conservative' voters when the economic flood of almost 40 years of horrific economic policy finally hits everyone square in the eyes.
Unfortunately, Nixon's removal of the gold standard is the enabler of the globalist agenda which is the end game of the whole 9/11 and 'war on terror' scheme. 911 was just the Reichstag fire of the globalist/WTO/IMF mussolini corporatist thing they have going on...it will end the same way but only after much more suffering.
"…how the hell are we going to turn this Mad March to the Cosmic Sea of Dark Matter around…?"
Answer: Amendment X - that is to say, we must recognize and grow beyond the founding concept that the 3 branches of Government and their relative separation of powers are endowed with all the authority and all domain over all matters germane to the human race and the eternal future of humankind. The understanding and provision for this was specifically and succinctly preserved for us in the Constitution's Bill of Rights – and it can't be any more American or patriotic than this:
" The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. "
1) Create and administer a publicly owned fund and community trust to equitably preserve, manage and promote public wealth (not money or coin – but which could have the effect of competing effectively with the privately owned fed. and other self-serving private money markets, such as insurers – whose profit and wealth is inequitably gained through the fruits and labors of the working class - i.e., double unto her her deeds…)
2) Provide for a council of elders (nonpartisan, non-appointed by Congress or Executive, selectable by common consent based on an Individual Life Work and/or social interest apart from politics - such as teachers, philosophers, researchers, humanitarians) to serve as an advisory authority, directed to act in the interest of the planet and for the future of the human race, rather than for expedient and/or immediate corporate self-interests – a dept. of the future perhaps, but not under the authority of an existing government branch.
3) Adopt and endow a fourth sentient sovereign functional arm of government (thus creating a more solid equitable 4-square system of checks and balances) that is charged with assuring and promoting the ideas as set forth in the Declaration of Independence; to identify, enumerate, preserve and promote unalienable rights, to identify and champion legislation and judicial enforcement as necessary to guard against and reconcile grievances accordingly, to promote the general welfare, with the power to accept and submit public referendums for legislative and judicial consideration, to help preserve the integrity of checks and balances with full access and oversight of all government activity, to check national security and covert intelligence interests, to freely create and distribute press and public media uninfluenced and free from corporate and commercial interests, to administer public resources, to freely provide objective campaign information and to monitor elections, etc.; to act in stead and on behalf of the balance of power between public, private and power interests, without undue influence of special interest.
Simply stated - it is self-limiting to hold that the full scope and balance of all power lies entirely within the scope of the constitutional authority given to any one or several of the current branches of government. That is, indeed, the very reason for the provision and existence of Amendment X in the Bill of Rights (emphasis on Rights). Which thus, establishes both the opportunity and purpose for such a unifying guardian body of authority to manifest - in order to secure a firm foundation for the forward ideals laid forth by the founding fathers, and as necessary to assure the Constitution serves onward as an essential living evolving instrument for public good – to secure Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for all - to provide new guards for future well being - to strive forever to form a more perfect union, and to secure the blessings of liberty for posterity.
We can leave it to God, or as he would will we do for ourselves - to evolve society and government as from time to time becomes necessary in the course of human events.
Mens sana in corpore sano.
Mustard Seed
Readers here will recall that I've been saying all this on my own website (said a great deal of it here, too), for literally years. The fact is that like prosecution of federal employees for crimes (murders) like Ruby Ridge, Waco, Ken Trentadue, Amadou Diallo, Sal Culosi, Sean Bell, and literally hundreds more, there will be no prosecution of George W. Bush for what is among the worst crimes in history - this nation or the world. My own lawsuit - the third, actually - has just been effectively ignored (after a year and a half, the court finally responded with a list of utterly false assertions concerning the complaint). Come on folks, talk is cheap. Look up Flast v. Cohen, then ask yourselves why people go on paying federal taxes. Good luck to Mr. Bugliosi - the book should sell like hot cakes. Just like Barbara Walters latest - and for pretty much the same reasons.
Wouldn't it be great if we had freedom of the media instead of Rupert Murdock and more people had time to spare from trying to keep up with their credit card payments to think about what is going on?
It would indeed be sweet to hear the truth and see evil doers forced to hear it too.
By the way where do you all live? If I display a red bandanna around here I will be asking for trouble from all the enemies of the Bloods. Blue would align me with the Crips, green with the Lime street faction etc... I would like to show my solidarity with the movement but bandannas are already being used by street gangs.
By the way what about the "private contractors" who have lost their lives in this Iraq mess? No one ever talks about them.
AlexLawyer, I appreciate your comments. I have always said that impeachment or trial by the international criminal court--either one would be fine by me. America has revealed her fatal weakness because we have refused to stand up to this president and his policies and a great many of our own congressional leaders have been complicit. Bush, as I understand it, rather purposefully distanced America from the International Criminal Court which to me shows that he (or his handlers) understood that he was going to be doing things that would subject him to international censure. America has systematically undermined the United Nations and while the ICC is not part of the UN, they are connected.
Given the lassitude of the American Congress how can Americans who care about this issue effectively call for much needed intervention and commentary from the International Criminal Court?
Can anyone provide for me e-mail addresses of more anti-Bush sympathetic groups, organizations, individuals? This would be a great help! bentaurus@hotmail.com
Those 16 words:
"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."
Bush is such a moron, and not only did he have the look of a mass murderer when uttering that infamous lie, but his speech writers coud not use the name of the country, Niger, for fear he would butcher the pronounciation on national television. Pronouncing "significant" with the silent "g" was difficult enough.
Also the worst liar ever.
gw has two personalities. One the buffoon a failure at everything he attempted; school, military, several businesses that daddy financed. The other, a ruthless, cruel, lazy bum alcoholic schidso who surrounds himself with like minded who will make jokes on national t.v. about breaking the law big time.Thinks nothing of attacking a country illegally that causes millions of deaths while publicly coddling family members with wealthy excess.
It would be easier to make a voluntary manslaughter case for the dozens of prisoners tortured to death by US officials. Bush authorized techniques that have long been clearly recognized as unlawful in the US and around the world, and he created a system so brutal that it resulted in deaths of detainees, some of them demonstrably innocent. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell, Ashcroft and Tenet are also implicated and should be investigated, indicted, tried and convicted.
Coco,
I love the song "imagine" Somehow as old as it is it sums up what we seem to be thirsting for.
I want to believe that somehow we have one last opportunity to change the world....for the better.
I am hoping we can let the bandana revolution take on a life of its own and "imagine" what we can do to stop this Empire and choose to build a new Earth community.
Time is limited. We best get working on it. At no other time in my 56 years have I seen such a need for urgency.
JDRMMR,
35 years ago I chose not to have children. I thought I would be bringing them into a world that would be fighting for water. Not far off.
I started being scared about four years ago. I realized what was in store. I finshed restoring this historic home we bought in 2003 in West Palm Beach. We have now have had our house for sale for close to two years. A beautiful little spot in the sun of West Palm Beach. I saw this coming but obviously not soon enough. It's been very difficult to stay ahead of the Empires plans to make my own.
We cannot go north to Canada (too cold) but have debated other places outside this country. Can't do anything unless we sell.
In the interim I have sworn to fight until I leave. As we used to say in the 60's "Power to the People!" I think it's time to revive a few good ways and times the best way we can.
The bandana is the way I can see who is willing to join the fight.
LC,
Did you take your medicine today?
JDRMMR: Thinking of Canada...hmmm 50 million educated voters and their families trying to move to Canada? There might be room, health care is rational and moral. Sounds good better than fighting with knuckle heads here. I am sure that half of the supposed 49 million Bush voters would not vote for him if they were not duped by the media, maybe only 25 million hard core.
castlecoalition.org it explains how to become as powerful as a multinational. To join millions of Americans into the Coalition of Americans trying George W. Bush, et al. for murder, war crimes, etc. is the power back to the people. Coalitions - we're forming ours to save our water rights since eminent domain is rampant in the U.S. Millions, think about it for a minute, in a Coalition to bring Justice to the Criminals who have stolen America.
I like Father Mulkahy's war song (from Mash) as a theme song also.
"There's no one singing war songs now like people used to do,
No "Over There," no "Praise the Lord," no "Glory Hallelu."
Perhaps at last we've asked ourselves what we should have asked before,With the pain and death this madness brings, what were we ever singing for?"
I am scared of the future of this country. I am glad I don't have children. I am thinking of moving to Canada. Like so many of my friends have.
CIVIL BEHAVIOUR/GHAWAR/NOTB4NOW969 ET AL
'earth community' seems like a good message. and as a theme song i would like to suggest david bowie's 'space oddity'. he wrote the song by being inspired by kubrick's 'space odyssey' in 69 and it was broadcast during the moon landing transmission programme in the u.k. revoluntionary at the time and exactly what we need now. and in the absence of new ideas, let's use one that has been proven to be effective. see it at:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhSYbRiYwTY
it's a classic..................along with 'imagine' by john lennon.
civil behavior - thank you for your reply. i missed that discussion on 4/21.
I think there is enough discontent and possibly even the beginnings of enough understanding of our predicament for a movement of real substance and visibility to soon develop. The unifying powers of a recognizable symbol will work wonders in this atmosphere - if we can pull it off.
As for color - I see it's to be a free-for-all. Okay. As for the message - we have to keep away from negatives and stick with positives; I like, for example, "Earth Community" as discussed above. I'm all into this, until it flops, which hope it won't. Bravo for a great idea!
Oh, and of course I'll be keeping an eye out now for a colorful hemp bandera that I will wear everywhere as soon as I see it. the right one.

"I continue to be amazed at both the willingness of the Bush Administration to deliberately lie to us and the assumption we are bone headed stupid."
Bush is not bothered by his lies because he knows that those of us who can see through them are outnumbered. I used to think that, caught in a lie, he would be shamed and be forced to recant. No.
His attitude is - So what if we know better? He has at his disposal one hundred million American morons who believe him, and while we may be educated and skilled in communication, his one-hundred million true believers outnumber us, and many of them are armed and authorized to protect the empire from truth and reality.
Great comments and many calls to ACTION by Posters. One early to post provided his e-mail who is ready to lead: bentaurus@hotmail.com. Lets get going on this and not just talk! It is a chance to make a real difference.
I tied my royal blue bandana to my yellow purse, and I'm feeling all rebellious, and slightly empowered that I can at least make a statement, and maybe others will too. If anyone has put this nicely into words (what it stands for etc.) and can e-mail it to me, I will start getting it sent around (around the Twin Cities area, anyway). My e-mail is my screen name + @yahoo.com.
Waiting For The Signal
These pages that bring us together
are the fire in the cave above the stream,
a dream we move in and out of, faceless,
expendable, waiting for a burst of wings
to spill our pooled bones like coins
over the chilled and silent ground
we fell in love with so long ago,
singing the green hills homeward
under that shovel-shouldered sun.
Fatigue works grim the stone of souls.
No talk is needed to believe the bleeding
will be ours all too soon. Needled dust,
that settled itself in naive lungs, cuts
with each rasp, yet the bleeding
won't be stemmed. Quick, black tongues
flick from windows, floors below pancaking
slabs, and the Street slumps with peanuts
beside its beer, locked on the game.
In our rush of voices a stream curses
the murmur of pines. In our names,
what we begged for never to be done,
is done with no shame. And the day
drags its blindered self to toil. Night trades
whiskey pete for oil, while down slope,
death-drummer birds with blazing eyes
ascend the holy crags to kill dissent
before we waking innocent arise.

I continue to be amazed at both the willingness of the Bush Administration to deliberately lie to us and the assumption we are bone headed stupid.
Bush's spokesmen now claim that the "Mission Accomplished" banner under which he declared victory in Iraq five years ago was not "his" banner. It is general knowledge they actually turned an entire carrier fleet around just so that the near shoreline would not be visible in tv shots. They staged a carrier jet landing with Bush strutting out in warrior costume. And, they chose precisely where the podium and all the photographers would be placed.
To suggest now that the horrendously wrong sign and its wording were not with their full participation defies credibility.
Of course, since one out of three people in this country apparently still believe those pathological liars in the White House who seem to lie even about things that would not harm them, well, maybe the Bush Administration is right on one thing. We do seem to be bone headed stupid.
OOPS.......sorry ghawar....not gahwar.....
Gahwar,
I think you'll enjoy this.
I've been working on this bandana idea for about three weeks now and it seems to be catching on. What was so awe inspiring was the following response to one of my first posts on it from another commenter. Here is most of it.
Please read and enjoy. It gave me the inspiration not to give up on the idea even if it took awhile.
"From Estabandido Common Dreams April 21, 2008
Yes, bandanas!! I been wearin' one for years anyway. They are the all-around earth-lover's protection, wipe, tool, and symbol of the wild and free, the untrammeled, the lover of natural and left-alone corners, a shade to eyes so damn tired of peering out into the carnage and insanity… So let's try bandanas! Let everyone use those colors they most appreciate, let the symbolism of color enliven this hopeless task, a task nevertheless (exactly like the bodhisattva's to "aid in the illumination of all sentient beings"…) completely necessary if our pitiful species is to survive this century….......
Amazing isn't it?
My dictionary shows that either spelling of bandana - one n or two - is correct, so I withdraw my earlier remark about spelling; one n is better anyway - simpler.
I was also thinking of maybe translating the word into Spanish, and I thought of the word bandera, as in the Puerto Rican national anthem ( " que bonita bandera..." ) but this is Spanish for flag, not quite right. I don't know the Spanish translation of bandana.
Anyway, it's a great idea and I hope that we can develop it and encourage widespread use.
Please add to this discussion. I think its important.
I want to join in giving my good and optimistic opinion of the "bandanna revolution" in which we all wear bandannas to identify ourselves with the Earth Community and so that we can recognize each other in public. It is an excellent idea, and one that has occurred to me independently too, although I had not settled on what sort of public symbol we should wear; the bandanna idea ends my thinking on this question.
What is the color and style of the bandanna? ( I will offer that our bandanna has two n's, not one. )
The bandanna is analogous to long hair forty years ago. In the mid to late sixties, long hair was so outrageous and so bold - you could not find a job, for example, if you wore long hair - that encountering someone in public who also had long hair meant instant friendship. That is what we need today.
This is such an excellent idea that it needs to be repeated in other posts. I'm going to copy my comment here and try to renew the discussion in more recent commentaries as this one I see is now passing into oblivion.
Buckoo, it's interesting and downright strange that only powerful Democrats die in small plane crashes. I've heard that the Rethuglicans were afraid JFK Jr was going to run for president in the future and so they got rid of him.
These right-wing fascists will kill for money and power because they know they can get away with it. George Bush by comparison makes Charles Manson look like an innocent child playing in a sandbox. Bush has caused the deaths of over 4,000 GIs and a million Iraqis.
Then these killers in expensive suits (paid for by us taxpayers) turn around and go to church on Sunday for photo-ops and claim to be religious Christians. What's George's excuse? God "told" him to do it.
Does George Bush even bother to get up every Sunday to go to church? LOL
Mr. Bugliosi and the host of "progressives" above are the reason liberals hide behind progressive and Bush 41 was with a majority of Americans able to define us as kooks with the L WORD.
From a legal standpoint as this is deemed an indictment of George W. Bush, I would remind that Mr. Bugliosi and all of the progressive brethern above figure out that your little international lynching of a President of the United States will not stop with George W. Bush.
GET THE POINT THAT YOU MR. & MS. PROGRESSIVE WILL BE INDICTED ON A NATIONAL SCALE AS ACCOMPLICES.
Before you start wide eyed claiming your innocence, just remember the last socialist, and George Bush is a socialist and not a right wing neocon, because he has spent more money on programs than Bill Clinton and Teddy Kennedy aided him in writing the education bill, that Germany twice had international indictments against it's leaders and the entire German nation was made to pay.
So for progressive Americans throwing George Bush on your pyre, because you are angry the electoral college made him president as Al Gore was too busy bashing America and John Kerry was too busy trying to be a slaughter king, you just remember that a host of Democrats demanded and voted for the Iraq War "that something had to be done" and as Mr. B along with the armchair posters here have NO WRITTEN PUBLIC RECORD CALLING FOR BILL CLINTON TO STOP BIN LADEN that makes you an accomplice for 9 11 and as there is no written record for trying to stop the first Gulf War, you are an accomplice for you charges of mass murder.
Oh and legal children, even if you did find something you posted, voila, there are hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi's and Kurds by Saddam, so you are guilty of aiding in mass murder for now ousting him.
See in your charmed world the reality is in the REAL WORLD your sword cuts both ways. YOU who supported Bill Clinton in Kosovo and now evidence has come to light that Serbian babies were butchered by "your side" led by Wes Clark that you too are indicted for mass murder.
To touch on the reality as apparently Mr. Bugliosi has no intelligence connections as I have in socialist Israel, communist Syria and fascist Saudi Arabia, the fact is known that Saddam did indeed have WMD. The Russian GRU (Russian Military Intelligence) loaded 2 shiploads of chemical weapons and dumped them in the Indian Ocean.
2 plane loads and 2 truck convoys of biological weapons were sent the week before the invasion of Iraq into Syria where they are now sitting atop Russian made medium range missiles.
Added to this Saddam's one lone nuclear bomb, which was too heavy to place on a Scud missile was flown out by a GRU jet shortly before the invasion to Moscow.
The record in Darfur also reveals from their communist leaders that Saddam sent his Air Force pilots to drop chemical weapons on the Christians there. The evidence is in the mountain graves there.
Now George Bush is guilty of covering all this evidence up. Guilty because the chemical weapons, bio agents weapons grade uranium came from socialist brothers in Europe.
This evidence coming out would have toppled France and Germany, leaving America standing alone and Europe ripe for Islamocommunist revolution. That is why George Bush covered this all up.
It is also why Valerie Plame who was working for the Clinton's sent her husband into Niger to "find nothing", because the fact of that matter is Saddam Hussein bribed with billions of dollars most of the leaders of the world. Marc Rich laundered this money and the Clintons got around 51 million dollar in their cut........it is why Bill was out speaking and being paid for it as that way the money could filter in and be explained. It is called double dipping.
In this the French socialists were bribed with Bill Clinton knowing that the French would refine 1.77 tons of weapons grade uranium for Iraq. We know this if you bother to Google it, because America flew out 1.77 tons of weapons grade uranium to White Sands shortly after Iraq was taken over.
THAT IS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION that either Helen Thomas is now covering up or Mr. B is completely ignorant of on purpose.
So as the mob chimes in for the trial of Geroge Bush, just remember my progressive brothers and sisters that once the court trials start that ALL THE RECORDS will start filtering back. The same records George W. Bush knew were there when he ordered Justice to close the files as Louis Freeh told him and the same records were there which George H. W. Bush scolded Bill Clinton in public with "I know where the skeletons are to back off Bill".
Those same records will be used against all the progressives on this site if we start hauling in our presidents, because it was your cheering policy which can be shown with Bill Clinton which led up to all the things which Mr. B is accusing George Bush of.
That is a legal accomplice.
So if progressives here desire their own trials they had better get their own lawyers and prepare for the same fate Nazi sympathizers got after World War II.
Progressives have got to stop sounding like incompetent no minds and fringe kooks. The same blame you level at one of your own is picked up by terrorists and used to act.
For the fact, every American soldier and Iraqi after Saddam was toppled is not George Bush's responsibility alone because it was progressives like Helen Thomas to Jeff Rense who started planting inflaming stories which caused those murders.
Sure you can deny it, but hey this is international court and one American is all Americans.
So Mr. B and the others clueless of historical fact, historical law and real international justice........just remember that YOU ARE NOW ON RECORD VOTING FOR HILLARY CLINTON who says she will vaporize Iran with nuclear bombs and Barack Obama who states he will nuke parts of ally Pakistan.
As you are on record now calling for a lynching of a President of the United States, that same rope is now precedent for ALL PRESIDENTS and the bloggers who agreed and voted for them.
Your thought it was ok to make it policy to label all Germans as "nazi" and never stopped Mario Cuomo from calling Pat Buchanan one.........well when the indictments come it will be each of the progressives here looked upon in group as "Americans" who will be led away.
You are guilty by your own condemnation.
Reasonably, progressives brothers and sisters, grow up, as this is politics and not good and evil for courts. You loose elections, so put forth candidates who will not be raping women and destroying liberal ideals in Bill Clinton's 8 years so America turns from liberalism and shuns a kook like Al Gore.
But no, progressives are now voting for 2 candidates who are talking about nuking nations, guns, God and a nazification of America where all of us work for benefits.
That is quite blind and completely not John F. Kennedy.
So Mr. B dust off the files as when the gavel bangs, you might get George Bush as an accomplice to Bill Clinton policy, but you are going to get a bigger group of progressives which is the entire Democratic leadership.
If that is what you want, which George Bush covered up for Bill Clinton, so America would not have another Watergate fiasco so a blundering Jimmy Carter could hand America over to our enemies, then enjoy your prison cell as you will have sealed America's fate.
Progressives had better relearn how to think as what is coming out is going to lynch progressives.
To Cee Miracles and all others interested…
First off, the thing I like about CD is I can go back and actually find a response to posts.
Secondly, I too cut my teeth at the end of the 60's as part of the revolutionary movement to halt the Nam war. Too many kids then were getting killed for the Empire and women and blacks were fighting for social justice al of which had the visual support of the many.
Since then we have seen a precipitous decline in our ability to trust government. Agreed? The control that has been consolidated at the top including members of Congress know that keeping us unseen and divided about what we can agree upon has worked to their advantage. No better time than the present to steal their thunder and show them VERY visually how many of us there are. They don't worry about us because they don't know how many of US there are.
Problem is in today's world it is just not as simple to get together hundreds of thousands in one place to protest Empire which is why the bandana revolution might just work. We need to be able to express it locally. We need to gather locally. Blackwater cannot be in 5,000 towns as easily as they can in one (DC mass protest). But first we need to see each other.
A simple square of fabric can be its own broadcast media if people like yourself pass it on. I have been working it into different blog posts and sending it out to friends. I talk to others about it when I get the chance. Wouldn't it be amazing to see a country abloom with bandanas of all colors? Sort of an interim flag, so to speak?
We need to SEE bandanas,
and so do THEY.
Revolution using symbolism stands for the IDEA. A bandana is merely the convention used to achieve an end to empire through a show of hands. Solidarity shown by carrying a bandana is the choice made for Earth Community over Empire. Once you've made that commitment then you can back whomever you feel has laid out the best plans to reject Empire and embrace Earth Community because that is your personal choice. Committing to Earth community is the nexus of the bandana revolution.
Earth Community
And all that it entails.
That means making substantial, sustainable choices that educate and show others that your level of consciousness is of a higher level than what the status quo is. Voting is not enough anymore. Lifestyles must change. We can no longer attempt to rule the world for our own self aggrandizement. We are all responsible. Hopelessness and despair beget suicide. Why do you think freedom fighters use it?
So I have tied my bandana to my bike. And you?
It is time to show each other who will support Earth Community and reject Empire's dominance.
Pssssst……….do something………….pass it on!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Feel free to cut and paste any or all of the above
Why has the Justice Department not throughly investigated the Murder/Assassination of John F. Kennedy Jr.
John's plane did not crash, it exploded. The Plane was in a landing pattern only 7 to 9 miles outside of Airport at Martha's Vineyard.
Will the Truth ever come out? There are many among you that are afraid to let the Truth be known.
The American Public demands that this Investigation be immediately reopened.
When will Congress issue the order for his Arrest? Also the Arrest of Chaney, Rumsfeld,Rice, Wolfawitch,Colin Powell, All Media Pundits and any Congressman ,CIA, FBI, or Public Official that knowingly advance this Lie.
The American Public Demand Our Elected Representitives to immediately Order this Command to Arrest The Above Mentioned Officials as a Danger to the Peace and Safety In America And The World.
As a prosecutor of Manson, Bugliosi had the police on his side. The police arrested Manson and dragged him by his filthy hair to jail. If Bugliosi should try to have Bush arrested he would be laughed at or arrested himself.
That is why, when you watch the national news each evening for your information, you see that the Iraqi resistance frequently attacks police stations. The police in Iraq work for George Bush just as the police in the U.S. work for George Bush.
The police are a real problem in the U.S. In my lifespan I have seen a profound transformation of the single, friendly officer who helped me cross the street on my way home as a first-grader, into a state-controlled gaggle of heavily armed thugs who might accost me for no reason, threaten me with violence and demand that I empty my pockets. If I were to try to arrest George Bush, then they would surely kill me.
The police do not protect or serve the people. They protect the government thugs. They are mostly retards who are impressed by authority, like the corrupt Supreme Court or Bush himself, and they take satisfaction in administering a beating to anyone. American police today are the equivalent of Hitler's brown shirts, a collection of thugs and losers and emotional basket cases with guns and grins and chips on their shoulders. They are easily manipulated and are loyal to the corrupt system out of ignorance and vanity.
Out of a sadistic whim or a moment of rage, a cop can kill you along the roadside in the U.S. with no consequences to himself whatsoever. All he must do is say that the cell phone in your hand appeared to be a weapon. No one will question him; he can walk away from a murder, and cops commit murders and executions in the U.S. every day.
Genocide in America has only just begun, but it has begun on several fronts and as an ignorant population invites the expansion of these initiatives out of frustration and anger, the program will develop into a full scale system of genocide that will kill millions of American undesirables, and Bugliosi, like you and me, can now count himself among the dead.
To those so-called "patriots" who insist that NO ONE should question the actions of George W. Bush, please consider the following words of one of the most revered Republican presidents ever:
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)
hey huck, truth be told there arent any "DEMS" anymore. they are wolves in sheeps clothing all bought and paid for by the Bush Crime Family so blaming them is again blaming the Bush Crime Family.
If we truly do reap what we sow, then I would hate to have Bush's karma.
Maybe you ought to check with your Heroes in the Democratic Party who gave Shrub permission to invade. Then you might want to check with Party leaders who have funded the war since they took over both Houses in 2004 thus allowing the murder to continue by taking Impeachment and impeeding attempts to Investigate Bush! This is just another example of speaking with a forked tounge. The Dems are every bit as responsible for the murder as Bush. Another Meta Narrative of the white inside the beltway refrain driven by a flock of sheep.
It looks like the mock impeachment will be held in Boston.
Are there any lawyers on here who could take up some posters' suggestions of a class action suit?
There are also lots of small functionaries, like Yoo and Gonzales. These are the worms that signed the memos approving torture. Yoo is in Berkeley. He walks around the campus and has a normal life. While others scream their throats bloody because of his actions.
To LetsSaveDemocracy,
How can anyone rob his home (or country) without first "binding the Strongman."
America is NOT A DEMOCRACY. It is a REPUBLIC. This fact is a matter of historical and written record.
Once the masses "Study to Prove Themselves Worthy" and learn the True history of the country in which they dwell, then maybe we will see some changes.
No wonder Bush and his thugs (all the way back in time to the original criminals)have committed crimes.
They have been ALLOWED to as our people don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. They have been "BINDED" with false history, religion, politics and all the other lies they have fed the people.
On the count of 3, can we all say "...AND TO THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH AMERICA STANDS?"
I agree, but most of you fellow commondreamers must act and spread the message..just writing in this forum will do nothing to get the war criminals the hundreds if not thousands of them in jail and hung for treason..take action..not with obama--not billary--not mcinsane--
you want criminal prosecutions??

First, I have to correct all of you on this board. Puppet Bush is simply a puppet. He has no more brains to run a coffee shop them to loot an entire treasury of the U.S. The "puppet masters" at the core of this disaster are both the Rockefellers and Rothschilds who control this government. Ever notice while they are never mentioned in Forbes richest men and their families are never mentioned anywhere in the media. Well then, now you are getting it. The international banking cartels have fomented and created all wars on this planet for some time now. They are the source and core of all evil. The leaves of this tree of corruption simply spread out from the root of the tree. Do you due diligence and research, and google Roschilds and Rockefellers. It is time we dragged these robber barons into the limelight and give them their just reward. A rope and an oak tree.
An Indictment of Bush, would be an indictment of the system, that allowed such tragedy, and obvious crime to occur. They would never carry out such a trial.
Because to do so, would be to admit that not only is Bush and his whole adminstation guilty. But also, all those that cheered it on.
Mankind is not yet ready to admit to himself that he his so flawed.
That war is murder and he is the murderer.
I love the bandana idea !!! Let's do it ! I'm going to call it the "Bandana Republic"
After all-
re·pub·lic
–noun
1. a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them.
www.dictionary.com
Who says we have to forgive and forget?
I don't care about vegeance at all. I care about WAKING UP AMERICANS so these things don't happen in the future!
I've written to many different progressive groups who might be interested in a mock impeachment; as usual, all i get back is begging for money letters & e-mails! Typical!
If anybody knows anybody who can MOVE this idea into reality, please let me know - or just do it!
On March 20, 2006, Bush said, "I was very careful never to say that Saddam Hussein ordered the attack on America."
See how smart he is? We're up against a criminal genius! There's no way to beat this guy, no way to capture him or bring him to trial. All we can do is forgive and forget. He is invincible!
Let us not forget the Bioterror Attacks on the Senate Judicial Committee as we mail our Mother's Day cards with the extra three cents postage. That too is a Capital Crime.
If Manson is deemed to be mentally ill, then certainly Bush Cheney et all are mentally ill and obsessed with bloodlust, disqualifying them from holding public office and requiring removal from society as dangerously mentally ill criminals. A psychotic person on the street who might appear to be dangerous to themself or others would most likely be incarcerated or hospitalized, if they were not gunned down by brutal american police. These deranged killers running the corporate government should be apprehended, examined, and subjected to the system.
And don't forget to include the rest of the murderous gang.
Good article Vincent, you're gettin Close to the big picture now.... Google George Bush and the JFK assassination.
Also if they find more bodies at the Manson Ranch, see if some murders around Topanga Canyon are linked.
I picked Charley up with two of his girl friends hitchhiking on Old Topanga Road and at the time there were rumors that "Big foot" was killing people..... Bigfoot turned out to be Charlie Manson as I recall.
Victor, who is more clearly bat shit crazy? Charlie or George?
h buchman, I completely agree with you. Concerning Bush's reaction, the pieces didn't fit, unless you think of him sitting there pondering the orchestrated events that he knew had just come into play. He was sitting there thinking well now there's no turning back. It's begun. I'm totally convinced that's why he was frozen in place. The momentary failure of nerve of a weak but malevolent man involved in something way over his head, without a handler in sight. The... oh shit it's started, response.
Sociopaths can be Charles Manson, the housewife next door, or the president of the United States.

Since true liberty on behalf of my brother and sister citizens and on behalf of all those global brothers and sisters being attacked, oppressed, ripped off, and controlled by my now out-law, criminal government IS THE ISSUE OF OUR TIME, there will be a bandana hanging off my tailgate, Civil Behavior, flying just above the stickers all over the backside of my beat-up, rusting beauty of a car. Just realized how 1984-ish wary I have become at this juncture, but that's the year that I actually started with "A Plan To Save the Planet Earth from Nuclear War," which was the hottest issue of the time with approximately 10,000 local groups/1,000 sponsoring groups in the U.S. and far, far more in Europe, the Soviet Union [yes!], and every other continent.
It was a piece of cake back then because of the activism generated by the horrific debacle of the Vietnam War, and reporter/journalists like Walter Cronkite and, yes, a young Dan Rather and so many others. Then labels like "liberal press" were accurate, and the news media still had strong, healthy teeth rather than soft, infected gums that can't hold on to a meaty concept like TRUTH.
But this is now, and I have learned to distrust, and if I wear or attach a bandana to "a briefcase, backpack, bike or car" as a signal/emblem "to identify [myself] to [you] and all others who will bring down the Empire and begin to build the earth community," and if you are not who you say you are, Civil Behavior, I have just identified myself as someone trying to "bring down the Empire"/government of the United States. That could get me declared an "enemy combatant," with no charges necessary and no habeus corpus to prevent my being thrown in a hole somewhere.
However, I kind of like Patrick Henry's fire: GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH.
Since true liberty on behalf of my brother and sister citizens and on behalf of all those global brothers and sisters being attacked, oppressed, ripped off, and controlled by my now out-law, criminal government, there will be a bandana hanging off my tailgate, Civil Behavior, flying just above the stickers all over the backside of my beat-up, rusting beauty of a car. How can Bugliosi do such good work on this case and trying to expose the conspiracy behind the RFK killing, but then completely blow the JFK case:
http://www.reclaiminghistory.org/
We all know by now what a heartless coward Bush is. The big question is...how does Laura continue to live with this slimeball? If she'll sleep with him, we can only assume she'll sleep with anybody.
Blaming Bush is only diverting blame for all his disastrous policies away from the moron voters who helped him steal two elections, our legislatorswho has defaulted their duties by allowing these outrages, and five supreme court justices who viloated their oath by placing politics ahead of duty and planting this dangerous zealot in office.
Don't worry, when the One World Global Government comes to power, based in London or Jeruselam, America will forced to pay reparations to Iraq and many other countries, via the UN, and when we can't come up with the money, the UN will seize all the assets of private citizens, while the global corporate citizens get to keep theirs. There will be justice.
Those Left Behind in American will be punished for the crimes being committed today. Your children will be forced to work to pay for these crimes long after you pass on. America will be the scapegoat, punished for it's treason of Declaring Independence from the Brutish Empire, and Catholics will be punished a bit more for their support of the Roman Catholic Church which did so much damage in Europe and with the Crusades, Inquisitions. In fact, we may be required to give reparations to African-Americans and Native Americans, who may be given the role of collecting these reparations from all the WASPS who made up the KKK and slave trade. Maybe Obama is the perfect president for this role (read his book, Dreams from my Father).
Yes, the globalists will enjoy punishing us for our crimes, which will get them the support of much of the world who knows what we have been up to over the last 60 years.
ClassAct, Cee Miacles, Rich Griffin and the whole group of fantastic posters on CD. It's late and I must get some sleep but....
I applaud your posts and your words that bring more of us together to take action against this planned takeover of our country.
I too have a little to contribute.
Here's a great little story........
Two thousand years ago a Roman senator suggested that all slaves wear white armbands to better identify them. "No", said a wiser senator. "If they see how many of them there are , they may revolt."
Use a bandana to identify yourself to me and all others who will bring down the Empire and begin to build the earth community. Wear it, tie it to your briefcase, backpack, bike or car. Join the bandana revolution.
They are few, we are many. A traveling visible symbol lets me know in a gas line, a supermarket or at work who you are and what you stand for. Earth Community needs us. Now.
.
IMPEACH both BUSH and Cheney.........IMMEDIATELY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
.
It would appear as if the denizens of CD are missing an important facet: that a "law & order" icon like Vincent Bugliosi is calling not for impeachment, but for a capital murder charge (which premeditated murder is) is huge. That the corporate media has not picked up on this should not be a cause for despair, but for advertisement. It is incumbent upon progressives to get the news of this out: first to sympathetic outlets, then to the others when it can no longer be ignored. Hopefully, Bugliosi is willing to give follow-up media interviews to expound upon his call.
Vincent....so...when are you going to present this case as a class action lawsuit for the people who have died, who are injured, who are left with trauma(this could include all of us)...we know all of the hard evidence...now what is the course of action?
Ever notice that you never see Charlie Manson and George Bush together? Hmmm.
The former Malaysian Prime Minister has called for Bush, Blair and Howard to be tried for war crimes:
http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/charge-howard-with-war-crimes/2008/04/27/1208743317123.html
When I first saw the footage of Bush in the classroom on 9/11 directly after a colleague whispered in his ear, I thought this man looked as if he had prior knowledge of what the masses were experiencing on television and radio, but now that it actually was happening didn't know how to react for the millions watching him.
I would like to think I was wrong, but I want to know the truth.
HardLeftTurn: I believe you are mistaken about the law on lying. Martha Stewart was sent to jail not for perjury, but for simply lying, although not under oath, to a federal investigator questioning her about her stock deals. Bush has the justice department and supreme court on his side, so no federal prosecution is likely to start or succeed for a while.
Possibility for prosecution: When members of congress violate the law, usually bribery or campaign finance laws, they may go to jail. Neither a president nor a member of congress can claim to be exempt from the laws and the constitution trumps all state law and federal law. It is clear that torture and a war of aggression are violations of US law by statute and by treaties, which the constitution says have the force of law. By tradition, the US supreme court can strike down laws and redefine the constitution, but they have not done that. Elizabeth de la Vega, a former US attorney has written an indictment of Bush based upon violation of US fraud laws. The same indictment could include a number of his associates and perhaps congress people could be named as coconspirators, Something to be explored.
Since the federal justice system has been captured by Bushies and is therefore broken, I have been exploring the concept of prosecution at the state level of Bush-Iraq war conspiracy. The question takes two paths, 1. have state laws been broken for which prosecution of Mr. Bush or any of his accomplices in congress is possible and 2. can state attorneys or district attorneys take up enforcement of violations of federal law. There seems to be precedent for state action to enforce federal law. e.g. the trial of Arron Burr for treason against the United States held in a Virginia state court and less clear but possible is article 6 of the constitution where all state officials are sworn to uphold the constitution and federal law.
Lastly there is possibility of international prosecution of all members of the US congress who have supported the war in violation of US Law, International Treaties to which we are subscribed under the Nuremburg principles. Mr. Bush did not commit this war on his own initiative, he was aided by his cabinet and members of congress. In WWII Germany and Japan, lessor officials were held responsible, and it is clear that members of congress knowingly enabled the president to carryout the illegal war, torture and so on.
The crimes of the Bush administration along with his collaborators have occurred in many US jurisdictions. One of them has to establish a grand jury and start calling witnesses. The crimes: unlawful imprisonment, kidnapping, illegal wiretapping, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to do all the above, election fraud, conspiracy to suppress votes....
What judge, DA or AG will take on the issue?
"Bush said, was to fly "U2 reconnaissance aircraft with fighter cover over Iraq, [falsely] painted in UN colors. If Saddam fired on them, he would be in breach" of UN resolutions and that would justify war. Bush was calculating to create a war, not prevent one."
Mmm, Painting an aircraft to make it look like what it is not and then flying it where it does not belong……. To start a war….
Where did Bush get that idea from?
Pentagon? 9-11? Wrong sized hole? Wrong sized aircraft? Aluminium going through reinforced concrete? No wreckage outside, wrong wreckage inside, books and papers not even singed on the exposed upper floors? And all the videos are not to be seen!
So many anomalies at the pentagon and WTCs
Class Act : I found the logic of your story quite appealing, but I wish it could be provided with some more corroborating evidence. So, why can't someone, on the grounds of "building fire safety", tomorrow get a court order and dig into the wall or a pillar of the Sears Tower in Chicago and pull out a couple of kilos of thermite and a detonator? Or, at least just run through it with explosive sniffer dogs? …. No wonder all these buildings are now –NO SMOKING – It gives a new meaning to "health risk"!
So many thinking people around America and around the world would love to put paid to the myths, lies and incongruous fabrications of the official conspiracy of 9/11. So many questions, so much dis-information…
As sad as are the lost lives that day, beyond pale is the evil that has been derived from those acts and sooner or later the truth will be known, and the pilots that said planes cannot be flown like that, and the engineers that said buildings cannot collapse like that, will all be vindicated. Nothing will ever bring back the dead Afghans and Iraqi who have had to suffer the reprisals for this self inflicted catalytic "new Pearl Harbour", but their souls and the souls of the 3000 victims, and how many thousand service men, will rest a little easier when the truth is none and this evil purged.
It does not have to bring down a nation or the world, just a few very evil men that have tried to drive the world to a new fascist insanity, in a mad cap PNAC. What are the Neo-Cons if not "conspirators", not in theory but in the facts of their evil, their lies and endless endeavour to extend war, mayhem, death and destruction..
I'm not religious, but I prey for their undoing and America's salvation.
Mr. Bugliosi,
What you say is true. What next? How do the People, absent any real representation in government, bring these criminals to Justice?
Serious investigation would likely add the events of 9/11 to the indictment.
What was Bush's comment behind closed doors concerning Saddam?
To paraphrase I believe it was,
"Nobody messes with the Bush family and get's away with it."
Sounds like premeditation to me.
But, can we prosecute? Will we prosecute? Do Americans (as a majority) care enough? Nothing I've seen since 2002 gives me any reason to believe that most Americans care who we kill, as long as we don't have (to paraphrase Cheney) to compromise our way of life.
Please realize that in the modern con-servative movement we are not dealing with stupid people. Bush/Cheney and the neo-con's are smarter than just about anyone posting on this site. And I'm not ashamed to admit that includes me. Lying is illegal only when done under oath (perjury) or to a law enforcement officer (obstruction of justice). Bush and co. are very careful not to do either. Usually by invoking "executive privilege". The lies that were told resulted in a "Congressional Authorization" to use force. This makes the military action and subsequent deaths of 4000 Americans and uncounted Iraqis legal in U.S. courts.
Vince,
Great, brave article...
...but you missed a key point. The crime you describe is not murder. It is the highest crime yet catalogued by international law.
In 1950, the Nuremberg Tribunal defined Crimes against Peace, in Principle 6, specifically Principle VI(a), submitted to the United Nations General Assembly, as:
(i) Planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances;
(ii) Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the acts mentioned under (i).
The Nuremberg Tribunal characterized such acts with the following statement: "To initiate a war of aggression, therefore, is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole."
The evidence that the highest crime has been commited, if not overwhelming, warrants an International Grand Jury investigation, to wit,
In addition to the case you've made, Vince, the evidence of premeditation by the Bush to invade Iraq to acquire strategic control over Middle Eastern oil irregardless of who was leading Iraq comes from at least two independent sources.
One source is the "foreign policy" position papers of the People for a New American Century (PNAC) that were publicly circulated long before Bush took office. The core document in the position paper series states that the authors believed that the United States should strive to control Iraq to acquire strategic control over Middle Eastern oil irregardless of who is leading Iraq. Many of the principle authors of this policy, i.e. common plan, including Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, were later named to key posts in the Bush administration by President Bush. That President Bush knew of the positions of his appointees and encouraged discussion of an Iraq invasion is cooroborated by the testimony of former Treasury Secretary O'Neill that this very matter was raised in Cabinet meetings presided over by President Bush in the earliest days of his Presidency and prior to 9-11.
The Administration furiously fought to keep the second piece of evidence secret and it is clear why that fought that fight all the way to the Supreme Court. It is sinister. Thanks to Judicial Watch's incessant Freedom of Information Act efforts, the only documents yet to be released from the secret Energy Policy Task Force chaired by Dick Cheney in the earliest days of the Bush Administration and prior to 9-11 are detailed maps of Iraqi oil fields.
There is no happy conclusion to this sad tale, but I pray that justice prevail.
Scott
The correct charge can be found at:
http://www.holocaust-history.org/works/imt/01/htm/t186.htm
The Tribunal now turns to the consideration of the Crimes against Peace charged in the Indictment. Count One of the Indictment charges the defendants with conspiring or having a common plan to commit crimes against peace. Count Two of the Indictment charges the defendants with committing specific crimes against peace by planning, preparing, initiating, and waging wars of aggression against a number of other States. It will be convenient to consider the question of the existence of a common plan and the question of aggressive war together, and to deal later in this Judgment with the question of the individual responsibility of the defendants.
The charges in the Indictment that the defendants planned and waged aggressive wars are charges of the utmost gravity. War is essentially an evil thing. Its consequences are not confined to the belligerent States alone, but affect the whole world.
To initiate a war of aggression, therefore, is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole.
RICH GRIFFIN: I like your idea, and it would have a lot more clout if an attorney like Bugliosi got behind it. Or Marjorie Cohn. Remember, we don't have Donahue on-air any longer to open a forum for presenting this type of scenario to the American people who might react like Hamlet's Mom, the accomplice, upon witnessing his ingenious ghost-inspired "play within a play."
US Citizen: I'd love to see a class action suit, and please let's have Blackwater on the list of offenders!
LILLULU: The leadership of India embraces capitalism to the same degree as other elites, and is willing to sell out its under-class in exchange for "the nation's" rising status. Bush is at home in dirty business dealings, and the exchanges between leaders with corrupt intentions would make any sane person cry.
CEE MIRACLES: I, too, see what you see... down to every detail mentioned, along with the inevitable light at the end of this tunnel.
Poet May 9th, 2008 4:28 pm
You argued that if a mobster puts out a hit, but does not actually pull the trigger he still should be charged with the crime. I agree totally, but what if the mayor, the DA and police are also on the mobster's payroll and all are involved in protecting the mobster and the hit men. I am sure there is an accessory and felony murder prosecution there if a jurisdiction and authority can be found.
So the author, Vincent Bugliosi, or another attorney can write up the charges against the other government people who are enabling and protecting the untouchable Mr. Big. E.g. Pelosi, other war supporting senators and congress crooks, various AG's, perhaps supreme court justices. Oh, and we should not forget that the American people would not be docile and confused if it were not for the disinformation spread by the media at the direction of the media owners, some of them are knowing accomplices too. HuffPo April 30 article discusses media ignoring the pentagon propaganda spread by generals "consulting" with news media. [Why Won't The Media Pursue the Pentagon Propaganda Scandal?]
Brattleboro could add a list of more easily arrested people to its order to arrest Bush and Cheney, other towns could follow suit. Grand juries and arrest warrants for Speaker Pelosi, or the head of CBS might get some attention.
Of course if this whole criminal enterprise is as coordinated and nasty as the 911, FEMA Godzilla, and PNAC comments above suggest, how can it be stopped.
On really interesting suggestion above is for citizens groups to stage criminal hearings, show trials, perhaps put on like concerts or plays. Have you seen "the crucible"?
RE: Rich Griffin May 9th, 2008 4:41 pm
Why do you reject a mock impeachment of Bush?
Mock Impeachment = excellent idea.
Every public official, state as well as federal, who is ignoring the huge list of illegalities should be pressured to support impeachment and trial or risk being labeled a war crimes collaborator.
We're all gonna pay in due time, silence is complicity, ignorance is no excuse.
I don't disagree with Bugliosi's points, which, as many have pointed out, are not new. I'd love to see him shed some prime time light on what's he's written, but I'm at least a little distrustful of the guy given the fact that he spent a lot of time "debunking" the JFK and RFK assassination researchers. Hey Vince, how does your smug proclamation of "There was no conspiracy" sit with you now? Care to issue a retraction, knowing what you now know?
As for what Class Act has posted here, I've heard that too, that demolition charges were already in place by FEMA. It's an interesting thought, but it's a dangerous to make the leap of faith that therefore the collapse of the WTC buildings "was not necessarily accomplished as a bit of stagecraft requiring specific foreknowledge of the attack." You would absolutely need foreknowledge, and we know that the administration had that foreknowledge. It's also erroneous to say that WTC 7 "was demolished later that day after the materials had been brought to the site and distributed inside." Wrong. WTC was 47 stories tall. Placing the demolition charges would take weeks, not hours.
It's also a major red herring to say that the "19 hijackers" were motivated by the presence of our troops in Saudi Arabia. Those 19 freedom haters were at most patsies, if they were even on the flights. 19 guys from a cave somewhere can't issue orders for a stand down of our air defense (that would be Cheney). 19 guys in a cave can't schedule training exercise simulating the flying of planes into buildings on the exact same day as the real event takes place (that would be Cheney). These 19 guys has massive CIA connections, and didn't know how to fly planes (although they allegedly trained right under the nose of the president's brother).
One other pesky detail about trying to pin the attacks on those 19 guys: Several of them are still alive. Oops.
So, without getting too far off topic, I hope Bugliosi can generate some serious discussion of this, because he's making some excellent points. But he was a shill for the Man before when he ridiculed the JFK researchers. In order for me to trust him, I'm going to need solid proof that he's not still a shill for the Man.
Guilty of all charges. On with the sentence.
We can specify a limit on the amount of harm any organization can make. This covers corporations, political parties, trade associations, and governments.
The limits undercut any argument for pre-emptive war, imperialism, and all the rest. Enforcing the limits requires that we take non-violent approaches to resolve conflicts, ultimately reducing violence to last-resort self-defense. This may all seem obvious, quaint, and impractical today, but the idea has to be put "on the table" to displace all the bullshit ideas that enable violence.
The capitalists laying siege to Washington are dispensing truckloads of bullshit into our minds to achieve our consent for their violence. Are we going to clear all of their bullshit out of our minds or will we keep it there to fester and stink?
Regarding "Godzilla" and the San Francisco Coit Tower.....
Look at this Wiki entry on Coit Tower and tell me who would be hurt by a 210 feet (64 meters) of unpainted reinforced concrete, except for the people visiting Coit tower.
Maybe the author "ClassAct" means the TransAmerica building. But although I look fondly at Coit Tower everyday, if it fell, I am sure we could rebuild it with our own hands and a thousand bags of concrete.
Other than that, Bush is a war criminal. He slaughtered thousands, dropped depleted uranium on our troops and our Iraqi friends we were trying to free, thereby causing cancer and leukemia for generations to come.
Hey, "Termite"(Number one comment up top)
Watch how many of those same stupid bastards vote for John McCain in November so we can bring the military death toll still higher.
It is my understanding that an imminent threat is required for a pre-emptive war. Bush stated that Iraq was a "grave and gathering danger" which is not legal justification for a pre-emptive strike. The corporate media never discussed that even if there were WMD (this administration's Maine), there was no cause for pre-emption.
It is too late for impeachment and neither The Emperor or Darth Cheney would be convicted. The driving force of this administration's policies is money. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Rice should be sued for damages to repay the U.S. for the cost of the ill-conceived, illegal, immoral and ill-planned war against Iraq. They should also be held liable for damages to U.S. soldiers and their families and the Iraqis for the deaths and injuries caused by the war. They should be bankrupted.
"Alberto Fujimori, the former president of Peru, will face a total of four trials on charges of murder, kidnapping, corruption and human-rights abuses."
And that asshole didn't even illegally invade an oil-drenched nation!
Our only hope is that a patriotic agent from The Decider's Secret Service detail goes postal with a submachine gun in the Oval Office...
how about a lawsuit against the war contractors for reckless endangerment of the American people?
Why do you reject a mock impeachment of Bush? We aren't going to get a "real" one. The reason for political theatre is to make a point and to educate in ways that can actually reach people. Your long posts here are great but they go nowhere. They are a waste of time and energy. We need action, not more of the same talk year after year. I'm trying to get this idea off the ground. If anybody knows of groups who would be willing to work with me on it, please let me know. You can hate the idea, fine, but if anybody gets what I am trying to do, get in touch with me. Thanks.
It would be a dream come true to see the entire Bush Crime Family pay for their crimes. I've read alot of intense evidence indicating George HW Bush's involvement in the Kennedy assasignations, and MLK, Any brain dead moron knows GWB is responsible for 9/11, this is without a doubt the single most deadly Crime Family in history. Guilty of millions of murders and countless crimes. My contempt for the Bush Crime Family is immeasurable......
If someone like Al Capone, Carmine Gambino, Sam Giancanna, or John Gotti put out a "contract" which is then executed by one of their underlings are they not just as guilty of the murder? The problems with Bush being so charged are:
1. His actions were approved by both houses of Congress and both parties who voted to authorize and fund the ventures.
2. His actions were then ratified by the American electorate who reelected him in 2004.
3. The only things that should be galling most Americans about the crimes of Bush are his sloppy execution of them and their own culpability as accessories to them.
So now George W. Bush has bought a large track of land in Paraguay. Can you say, "Nazi hideout children"? It's either that or the fabrication of a "national emergency" which sets the stage for martial law. Or he has a terrible accident at the Crawford, TX ranch on his mountain bike and breaks his psycho neck and of course Cheney has his bad heart(in more ways than one!). I don't believe people like these 2 have to go to jail. That's for crack heads,no? Damn! Do I sound bitter and cynical????
Class Act, May 9, 2008, 1:13 p.m. - "The correct charge for the prosecution of George W. Bush, et al, would in fact be mass murder, not just murder. While the scope of events surrounding the Iraq War does indeed boggle the moral sensibilities and mind, but acknowledging the "crackpot realism" of the neo-cons behind the Project for a New American Century and their surrogate president is just the tip of the iceberg. The plan envisualized the future through the prism of the struggle for resources throughout the world and the need for America to project military presence anywhere, and indeed everywhere at once in the world if need be, to maintain control over those resources. The essential resource needed for America to meet this vision was oil and so a large and permanent presence in the Persian Gulf was the central point of the entire undertaking. ..."
So back to the first Bush Administration [and, of course, way before that ... JFK's assassination ... when all the then younger players came on Board for Nixon and the major Corporate Money/Banking Establishment folks and began to get their nasty, nasty act together, viz., Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove et al.] Wolfowitz with some assistance from Colin Powell and neocon blood suckers, designs a pre-emptive, preventive war doctrine [put in a drawer in 1992 when the surprise ascendency of Bill Clinton to the throne scuttled the onward march of the NEW WORLD ORDER ... see David Rockefeller's astoundingly open and clear statement in his MEMOIRS for the NEW WORLD ORDER.]
All hell breaks loose against the Clintons and GOTCHA becomes the game. The Clintons, however, are smart politicos and are quite rich now and well-connected, and it certainly would seem learned to play with the same ball, despite earlier protests by Hillary--pre-Monica revelations--about "a vast Right-wing conspiracy,"
of which she seems now to play kneesies with.
Election 2000 was a plan to award one not-too-bright puppet fellow of the right family and connections [Skull & Bone brothers and others], the Presidency. A brief clip on one of the major TV networks in the early A.M. of pre-election days, 2000 [when the fully unindoctrinated media folk still made gaffs, i.e., attempts at honest reporting] showing GWB arriving in Florida greeted by brother Jeb and a few reporters, who throw him a question or two. "... Well, I am a little worried about the Florida vote." The camera catches Little Brother Jeb's arm go around GW's shoulder as they sidle away, and Jeb says: "There's nothing to worry about, Bro. Everything is taken care of." AND HOW!
When moments like that still snuck through before and a short period after 2000, my night-owl mind would go "click," and then I would stay up to see whether or not the same clip was rebroadcast. It wasn't. CLICK!
The point is the Nation of the United States of America has been taken over. And regardless of uncomfortable speculations as one assesses all the events and decisions made since 2000 causing millions and millions of deaths of ordinary people and creatures from all over the globe from many causes, whether attacks, starvation, lack of water, poisonous pollution, destruction of environment, and the events and decisions causing unprecedented suffering for what is becoming billions of people as economies collapse from "shock-doctrine" programs or the fall-out from the orchestrated chaos by the truly BIG BROTHERS intent on World Domination, ... regardless of all those speculations which are written about ad nauseum, the evidence seems to be in. Don't ya' think?
Thus, what it all comes down to is how the hell are we going to turn this Mad March to the Cosmic Sea of Dark Matter around as planetary life, as we know it, disappears into the Black Holes of Uncontrollable Greed, Murderous Intentions, Psychopathic Insanities, etcetera? And that is not just a rhetorical question?
The vast majority of us ... the little guys and gals riding this earth ... are not a consideration for those seeking the POWER and CONTROL and WEALTH that they seek. We ... and it doesn't matter where on the earth ... are the workers, the drones, the slaves, the necessary consumers when it is time to consume ... and that's not a new story to history.
However, this is the beginning of the 21st Century with looming, unprecedented problems: global warming-climate changes; environmental degradation and ecological destruction; expanding populations; weapons of mass destruction that are here now and in the works; communication and surveillance technologies that can pinpoint moles on our asses and burn them off; global monetary controls by the Super, Super rich; genetically manipulated and doctored food ... and more in the works; fresh water supplies drying up or polluted; programmed ignorance and conditioned thinking/acting; lethal, cold-and-calculating intelligence networks in service to The Elite; expanding private, mercenary armies; corrupted legal systems all the way to the TOP ... and still, the primitive mentalities that insist MY GOD IS NOT ONLY BETTER THAN YOURS, BUT THE ONLY GOD AND WAY TO BELIEVE!!! ... and CAN'T WAIT FOR ARMAGEDDON ... Doo Da La Doo ... AND IT'S COMING ROUND THE BEND!
We got trouble in River City, folks ... The fun is, however, to think, be and do out of the box ... without adding to the hurt. Our latest Human Adventure.
We never do know who or what is COMIN' ROUND THE BEND, but we humans are a creative bunch and the best of us already are innovating and working toward a very different, positive future ... Lots of good ideas that need support and action come up right on this Board all the time. ...
Rough times ahead? You bet. But little by little, I'll also bet, we CAN turn it around ... and WILL ... Why I think that is a whole 'nother subject, something about always seeing a glass half full, but for now ...
peace ...
So many leaders have committed atrocities like this but how many have ever stood trial for them?
bush isn't above the law, but has far too many snakes guarding the pit to get to him. The good news is that he must live in his own prison for the rest of his life. He can never go to the park, travel, or walk amoung people alone. He will forever be surrounded by a bunch of goons. All the simple things that you and I enjoy are denied to this man forever. He's a prisoner in a guilded cage. The funny part is that he constructed his own prison.
Recruit enough people with power to join you in a massive crime, and you are immune from prosecution no matter what the law says. Unless, of course, a group more powerful brings you to justice very violently.
The Repubs know how to manipulate the Dems: get them to participate in the early phases of the crime, and they will willingly kill hundreds of thousands rather than admit that the crime is a crime.
ClassAct -
With so much disinformation campaigning afoot to discredit "9/11 conspiracy cultists", one never knows how much is real, and how much is Memorex.
Yet I must admit that your "Godzilla" scenario presents the first more or less politically coherent explanation I've encountered for how a controlled demolition of the WTC towers on 9/11 could have transpired, given my limited knowledge of structural architecture and the physics of skyscraper collapse.
If any of these FEMA-related programming claims have an ounce of truth to them, there will exist tons of (classified) paperwork to confirm or refute the theory. Either Congress by legislation, or a new President with nothing to hide by simple executive order, could get to the bottom and dispel all doubts about this scenario very easily, and very quickly.
Bill from Saginaw
Let's add treason to that charge, too. And, add a whole host of players in the treason geme: Cheney, Addington, Rove, every employee of the Office of the Vice President.
Sorry, Madam Pelosi says "impeachment is off the table".
Join me in this election: "anybody but the 2-parties".
This isn't new information. Our government leaders know this, and they will now and forever do NOTHING about it. Bush/Cheny are war criminals who will live out the remainder of their lives in comfort. It sets a very low standard for any future president. What exactly constitutes an impeachable offense now...shooting someone in the head on live TV?
If bush or cheney's lips are moving, they are lyin'.
May Bush and his collaborators be hounded, harassed, sued, disgraced and imprisoned for the rest of their lives. May Bush's legacy be one of complete and utter failure and may he know it in his lifetime. May the only place he can appear publicly is on a second rate game show where he can be made out to be the fool he is.
Guilty as charged!
LETSAVEDEMOCRACY -- You and I see eye to eye on all that.
I do believe that 911 was planned in advance for years by the people who stole our government back in 2000. The plan was to revive Fascism -- and to do it 'right' (pardon the pun) this time. These are very very dangerous times. Thankfully, I don't believe it will be successful in the end -- though, unfortunately, I think their damage will go quite far before they are stopped. But, in the end, they will be defeated as Hitler was defeated. But how many lives and how much suffering will take place before that happens? TOO MUCH, I think.
bush and cheney are crazed mass murderers and torturers. They are as sick as they come. They should share a cell with Charles Manson as that is where they deserve to be.
Adding insult to injury: Bush says starving India eats too much.
"May 7, 2008 -- Karl Marx, born on 5 May, 1818, nearly two centuries ago, had in 1867 laid bare the 'intimate connection between the pangs of hunger of the most industrious layers of the working class, and the extravagant consumption, coarse or refined, of the rich, for which capitalist accumulation is the basis' (Capital Vol. 1, Ch. 25). In May 2008, nearly a century and a half later, as we hear Emperor Bush hold forth on global hunger, we are reminded that capitalism and global wealth remains just as intimately wedded to hunger.
The global policeman Bush, in the time-honoured traditions of the backyard bully, has long harboured the habit of dictating to nations who their friends and enemies should be. Now, he has taken to telling nations how much they should eat, and of wagging a disapproving finger at poor nations whose middle class has made some improvements in its diet.
Bush's sentiments (and those of his lieutenant Condoleezza Rice) reek of callous contempt for the world's poor. They lay bare the fact that the only perspective Bush and US imperialism is capable of is that of the US corporations. In Bush's words, the growing purchasing power of the middle class in the developing world is ``good'' because ``y'know, it's hard to sell products into countries that aren't prosperous'' (see http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/3006775.cms), he said on May 3.
But, lamented Bush, ``you start getting wealth, you start demanding better nutrition and better food''. In other words, India's growing appetite was pushing food prices up and causing the rest of the world to go hungry. Unfortunately, the world's people haven't mastered the art of being markets, not mouths: of tightening the belt over their bellies while loosening their purse strings ...
Bush is the head of the nation whose successive governments used its military to ruthlessly batter a long list of Latin American and African countries into being pliant suppliers of cash crops for the US corporations; and in the process devastating the food security of these nations. Major General Smedley Butler has described how, as a US marine, he had been ``a high class muscle-man for Big Business...a gangster for capitalism'' who had helped to make Honduras, Mexico, Haiti, various Central American republics, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic ``safe'' for plunder by US fruit, oil, and sugar corporations and banks in the early twentieth century. Washington's latest exploit has been to ``make Iraq safe'' for US oil corporations, in the process devastating its economy, its infrastructure, and its thriving health and education structures.
Now, Bush has the gall to offer in charity what his nation has plundered by military muscle and economic arm-twisting. Like a rapacious wolf dressed up as a kindly and nurturing mother, he describes the US as an ``unbelievably compassionate and generous nation'' and offers to help the poor countries out by ``buying food directly from farmers as opposed to giving people food''. So, the deepest desire of the US corporations –- to have the farmers of developing countries as captive and direct producers for them alone -– is projected by Bush as generosity!
The US today along with a small and exclusive club of ``developed'' countries guzzles a disproportionate share of the world's scarce resources including fuel, paper and food. It is also responsible for a disproportionately high share of global pollution. Although constituting only 5 per cent of the global population, the US emits more carbon dioxide, consumes more paper and other forest products, and produces more municipal waste than any other country. Yet Bush refused to curb carbon emissions in the US, saying ``the American way of life is not negotiable'', and peddling the absurd theory that cows were more responsible for such emissions than cars, and so countries like China and India ought therefore to bear a greater burden of curbing emissions!

Annual per capita food-grains consumption in the US is over five times that of India, and three times that of China, according to figures released by the US Department of Agriculture for 2007. On average, a US citizen consumes 1046 kg of grain, and around 20 times more meat and fish and 60 times more paper, gasoline and diesel than the average Indian. But in India, since the entry of globalisation, the average per capita consumption of food grain has actually gone down from 177 kg per person to 155 kg per person: which is the same as the hunger levels seen during famine in times of the British Raj. And in India, foodgrains absorption is rising fast for the (mainly urban) middle class, which boosts the national average. A large section of the rural poor are actually reduced to as low as 136 kg per capita per year –- which is the same as that of starvation-hit sub-Saharan Africa.
Bush grudges the 350 million-strong Indian middle class its improved diet: he is blithely silent about more than 350 million rural Indians who are below the average food energy intake of sub-Saharan African countries! Studies have shown a long-term tendency towards declining per capita calorie consumption, especially in rural India -– that is, Indians are growing hungrier year after year. Deaths by hunger are an all-too common phenomenon which Indian rulers are united in denying.
And these millions owe their hunger directly to the rural job losses, income decline, land grab, slashed government expenditure on rural development, slashed PDS and increased grain exports -– all of which are policies aggressively promoted by the US-backed IMF-World Bank, and faithfully forced on Indian people by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his predecessors.
Of course, the actual food consumption of the poor Americans is less than the national average. Hunger and homelessness are a growing phenomenon in the US, the world's richest country. According to the US Department of Agriculture, in 2006 more 35 million people lived in food-insecure households, including 13 million children. Adults living in over 12 million households could not eat balanced meals and in more than 7 million families someone had smaller portions or skipped meals. In close to 5 million families, children did not get enough to eat at some point during the year. This hunger at home is all the more horrific when one knows that more than sufficient food grains are grown in the US –- but is fed to cars as ``bio-fuel'' rather than to hungry people!
Bush's bratty and bullying arrogance is really nothing new: we expect nothing better. The real question is why Manmohan Singh, our prime minister, describes a man with such contempt for India and for the poor of the world, as ``India's best friend''? Why insist on continuing with US-dictated policies which favour imperialism and force millions of Indians to live in misery and hunger?" --- Kavita Krishnan
Let's go from bla-bla to ACTION! WHO IS AN EXCELLENT, COURAGEOUS ORGANIZER???
A Japanese doctor said, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him looking for work in six weeks."
A German doctor said, "That's nothing, we can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him looking for work in four weeks."
A Texas doctor, not to be outdone said, "You guys are way behind. We took a man with no brains out of Texas , put him in the White House and now half the country is looking for work."
The light will eventually destroy the vampires.
The obvious question for me is, why doesn't the House (and Senate) conduct its own investigation under the auspices of one of the many Committees that could justifiably claim jurisdiction in this matter (and so many, many others).

Any of this sound familiar?
I believe we have a moral obligation to hold a large scale (tens of thousands) mock impeachment trial of Bush & Co. for high crimes & treason. We can do this; to the naysayers: if big mainstream media ignores the action, then we must be willing to strategize and get smaller media outlets interested. Programs such as Bill Moyers, Newshour, Colbert, and Stewart are places to start. Let's get this off the ground! There are so many groups that would be interested in this. We can't wait for elected politicians and our corrupt fourth estate, to do their jobs. We have to do it for them. Is anybody else interested in this idea? e-mail me: bentaurus@hotmail.com
Bush-Cheney can never escape what they have done. Every day a new piece of evidence is forthcoming supporting my suspicions about the truth behind 9/11. They must be held accountable in a court of law else we will lose our allies one by one, not to mention our democracy. It is all very tragic, but no less than the (over) one million who have been slaughtered, plus those who died on 9/11, thousands maimed for life, and thousands who have committed suicide.
The first thing in causing change . . . to remove the rot and hold it accountable, is for the public to cease living a fantasy and come to terms with the truth.
Meanwhile don't watch media pundants like Matthews, Blitzer, and the rest (all legends in their own minds) . . . who are a threat to democracy and peace.
One more thing--to any American people posting here. Read this and act, or else WE are complicit, too.
"There comes a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!" — Mario Savio

There is no "rule of law" in the USA. Jesus Christ, what has this country become?
Vincent Bugliosi wrote: "Even after Bush admitted on September 17, 2003, that he had "no evidence" that Saddam Hussein was involved with 9/11, he audaciously continued, in the months and years that followed, to clearly suggest, without stating it outright, that Hussein was involved in 9/11."
Bugliosi doesn't go far enough: there is plenty of hard physical evidence that completely undermines the official 9/11 narrative involving 19 "Islamic extremist hijackers" and implicating insiders within our own government and military in these pivotal attacks. The 9/11 false flag operation has been used to justify very aggressive U.S. foreign and domestic policy, and has been used in past judicial action as justification for invoking "state secrets" privileges and shrowding evidence under the cover of "preserving national security." By dispelling the official myth of 9/11 (again, using the abundant hard, physical evidence, in addition to witness testimony and very obvious government obstruction of various investigations/perjury/fraud), the justification for state secrecy is undermined. More importantly, the public would not tolerate the attacks on our civil liberties or the lies justifying wars of aggression.
Old news - how do we get action? Trying to prosecute an ex-President is like moving the Empire State building to Alaska.
Please...tell me something I don't know! What's the purpose of this article, other than a book promotion?
Also, being that George W. is the Commander In Chief of the U.S. Military, as he and hims minions have constantly reminded us, his actions would necessitate a Court Martial.
I'll believe it when I see it, as there has been no real indication that they will ever experience JUSTICE, at least in this life. I would love to be sitting at the Pearly Gates when George W. appears to meet his maker.
They're digging up the old Barker Ranch in Death Valley as we speak looking for old Manson victims and that's roughly forty years on. Imagine how long it would take to dig up all of Bush's victims. What an ignorant little man, responsible for the deaths – unnecessary deaths – of so many innocents. Bush is a candidate for war crimes but I may as well wish the air to be purple or water turn into wine. There is no justice – Just ice.
Let us not forget TREASON!!!
However, criminal prosecution should not be limited to George W. (George the Lesser), but should also include most of the entire Bush administration, past and present.
Like father, like son....George H.W. Bush, while a vice-presidential candidate with Reagan, committed treason against the US by paying off Iranian militants with CREEP (Nixon's Campaign to Reelect the President) money to keep our diplomats hostage while Jimmy Carter held office.
George W. Bush has committed treason against our country for the reasons articulated by Bugliosi, as well as other forms of treason.
There is no justice in our country until both Bush's are brought to justice. Until then, we only have a police state where ordinary people are subjected to the criminal justice system.
The correct charge for the prosecution of George W.
To enlist the support of the American public in this task, the neo-cons opted for the cover rhetoric of spreading democracy in the Middle East. Rather than looking to the solution of a unified, secular, democratic Palestine, however (which would be the obvious choice for a beacon by example, if one were really contemplated), PNAC considered the potential for overthrowing the governments of Iran, Syria, and Iraq, finally selecting the last as being the most achievable. They were well aware that the American public would not support this effort, however, absent the catalyst of "a new Pearl Harbor."
When PNAC drafted its proposal, the American military presence in the Persian Gulf was established in Saudi Arabia, and it was that presence which motivated the 9/11 hijackers, most of whom were from Saudi Arabia. The American troops were perceived by the Arab people as an adjunct to the secret police of the Saud family (a role played, paradoxically, by the fundamentalist Wahhabi sect), and seen by other Muslim fundamentalists as an intolerable defilement of the holy land. Our troops in Saudi Arabia were withdrawn at the commencement of the current war in Iraq, but the contemplated permanent station of American troops within the embassy compound in Baghdad is likely to have the same effect. (This scheme is supported by all the aspiring presidential candidates, except for Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul, virtually guaranteeing more blowback terror in the future.)
Coming into office with the announced intention of waging war on Iraq, but needing "a new Pearl Harbor" to achieve that, the Bush administration was in the position of a person who has published a manifesto proclaiming that he has discovered a means of benefitting from a car accident. If such a person subsequently has a car accident, nobody would infer that it was really an accident since all that is needed to have it is to close one's eyes. Despite warnings from the departing Clinton administration that terrorism was the greatest threat facing the nation, the Bush administration dismissed the idea insisting that "drugs" was the greatest problem. Questions about terrorism from the press were routinely referred to Vice President Cheney, who did not hold his first meeting on the subject until September 4, 2001. Apparently the only outcome of that meeting was to appoint Michael Brown to the assistant directorship of FEMA; he took office two days later, displacing an experienced PhD from the previous administration.
Elevating the nature of the attack from criminal terrorism to full-fledged act of war, the WTC buildings were indeed collapsed by controlled demolition, as inferred by both Dan Rather and Ted Koppel, but it was not necessarily accomplished as a bit of stagecraft requiring specific foreknowledge of the attack. It was conducted under the auspices of a secret FEMA program called Godzilla that affects other buildings in the US and throughout the world.
The Godzilla story begins in January 1995 with the Kobe earthquake tragedy. The damage inflicted upon the city was unprecedented in its severity. Many buildings slumped precipitously, threatening surrounding property. Some buildings had been uprooted from their foundations and thrown down intact into intersections. Insurance companies took a bath and the extent of damages triggered payouts from international reinsurance carriers. The risk became a matter of serious concern to globalized insurance corporations.
Actuaries calculated scenarios in which a similar quake could hit a major city, toppling its tallest structures onto surrounding property – property more valuable than the skyscraper itself. Buildings could also sag, looming over more valuable properties, and collapse before any action could be taken to protect surrounding property from collateral damage. Terrorism of course could also create these conditions as had been attempted on the World Trade Center in 1993.
The large insurance companies presented these concerns to FEMA, who spent about a year studying the matter and searching for solutions. The result was a secret program called Godzilla. This program is in part a secret building code by the terms of which structures deemed of concern must submit a plan for demolition that FEMA keeps on file. Planned buildings over a certain height must submit a demolition plan along with a construction plan and the construction plan must include facilities and features within the structure and machinery for the potential installation of demolition explosives.
Within the demolition option widely known to the emergency worker sector under FEMA, there is a more secret designation for demolition on demand based on a rating system comparing risk and surrounding property values. Of course, the World Trade Center towers topped the list for the demolition on demand rating and its "charged" status was installed. Intelligence work in terrorist cells have identified other targets that are likely to have received this designation: Coit Tower in San Francisco and Sears Tower in Chicago, for instance, however, most major cities have landmark structures that are likely to have received this rating. Buildings with this designation have demolition explosives already situated inside them.
Other buildings are still of concern, of course, and to deal with these under emergency conditions, the various FEMA headquarters nationwide maintain stockpiles of demolition explosive that can be deployed within hours. Installing the Godzilla emergency system and protocol was fairly expensive, but the bulk of its cost was in 1997 when it went on-line. Much of the expense, the drafting of demolition plans, was borne by building owners. Continuing costs arise for FEMA in the quality testing of stockpiled demolition explosives and the off-line check and recycling of installed demolition devices in the high risk structures.
Successful implementation and demonstration within the US created pressure for other nations to follow suit, especially as urged by the global reinsurance industry. The penalty for non-compliance would come in the form of dramatically increased insurance rates because although Kobe and 9/11 events are rare, they are very costly when they occur.
Of course when the Clinton administration installed Godzilla, it was universally conceived as a tool to be used to promote public safety. No one imagined that it would be used for the blatantly partisan ploy of creating "a new Pearl Harbor," as it was by the Bush administration. Demolition of the towers could have taken place that afternoon or the next day and none would have questioned the wisdom of the action since the extent of damages exceeded the values of the structures. Both towers were razed, however, just as the smoke issuing from them changed from black to white, indicating that the fires were burning themselves out and the window of opportunity to cast the blame for their collapse onto the impacts was closing. That this decision negatively impacted public safety was no concern of the decision makers.
FEMA headquarters for the World Trade Center complex was in the Salomon Brothers building, WTC 7, which was demolished later that day after the materials had been brought to the site and distributed inside. This prevented discovery of documents and receipts relating to Godzilla and the installation of demolition devices inside the WTC towers. Three secret service agents died in the collapse of WTC 7 protecting the security of communications equipment and files of the CIA, the FBI and FEMA.
The Godzilla protocol cannot be implemented by just any fire chief, however, FEMA executive authority is required and their authority must be issued under a variety of emergency scenarios by the President and the White House. On September 11, President Bush, once he finally decided to respond to the crisis, issued a blanket approval to Vice President Cheney in the situation room at the undisclosed location. The decision to implement Godzilla at the time when it was done was a joint decision involving Vice President Cheney, acting with the authority of President Bush, then Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, then National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice, then acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Richard Myers, then director of FEMA Joseph Allbaugh, then assistant director of FEMA Michael Brown, the director of FEMA Region II (name unknown), New York Governor George Pataki, then mayor of New York City Rudy Guiliani, the director of the New York Port Authority (name unknown) owner of record, and the then current lease holder, Larry Silverstein.
Because FEMA already knew the cause of the collapse of the buildings, it only called for a volunteer forensics team – and then brushed aside the objections of its engineers to issue a cursory, speculative report on the cause: a complete abdication of its responsiblities towards architectural engineering and the public. It did, however, have secret investigators posing as medical teams combing the building débris for unexploded devices to report on the success of this emergency management measure.
It is so damned obvious that America was hijacked once by the 9/11 criminals and then a second time by the Bush criminals. Yet we can't talk about the crimes of the latter group even though its crimes were ultimately so many times worse if you take into account the death toll. I have followed this from day one and at each obvious crime and lie I would scream that America was being lied to, scammed. But in this invisible world of true Republican crime there is no way to make the people realize what has happened. The fox still runs the henhouse. The suits are still shiny and there's always a new colored tie to correspond with the newest lie. I guess I'm crazy. This is definitely what my president wants me to believe. Believe anything and everything but my own eyes and mind. Well, it's getting hard to do. How long are you supposed to pretend black is white and that our president is not a criminal?
There is one very BIG GLARING OMISSION from your introductory remarks concerning the fall out of the lies of this administration:
- There are over 1 million Iraqis dead- children, grandmothers, people just like you and me just living out their days and now gone b/c of this administration's lies
- over 2 million Iraqis who have been displaced and are in exile.
When speaking of the American dead do not forget of the Iraqis who have suffered immeasureably b/c of the cowardly actions of this immoral administration.
Remember that the next time you write of the chronology of offenses by this administration, sir.

--gwb as a cleaned-up version of Manson--
Perhaps a read of Oscar Wilde's Picture of Dorian Gray will help explain the "cleaned-up" appearance of gwb.
"Bush and his administration knowingly lied to Congress and to the American public — lies that have cost the lives of more than 4,000 young American soldiers and close to $1 trillion."
Ethnocentricity lives.
Actually, I think Bush should also be prosecuted for the murder of the language.
So, Mr. Bugliosi has laid out the case. When does the action come?
This is progress, but we need to dig deeper. The Bush Administration is also obviously responsible for 9/11, along with certain radical Israelis in the cabal who are dual citizens. Too many people are still too horrified to see this, though it is plain as day, once you take off the nationalistic blinders, and can admit that you've been fooled.
This administration, and particularly the Bush family, is direct descendent of the Nazi regime. Once we wrap our mind around that, it is easier to see how truly grave this political crisis is.
Pat Tillman realized it and was shot in the head at close range by his "superiors," while Rumsfeld covered it up. Those airmen who last summer averted the theft of nuclear weapons, also paid with their lives. The battle has barely begun. It is not a war against Islam. The world needs to unify to remove the Fascists in our White House, and send them to prison for life, not allow them to escape to George Bush's ranch in Paraguay, like the Nazis did before him. Then maybe we can get civilization back on track toward peace and democracy. Not before. See Patriotsquestion911.com
The movement is growing.
Ha!
George Bush is like a cleaned up version of Charles Manson.
I can only imagine how the author feels. He prosecuted Charles Manson who orchestrated the deaths of 5 people. In Manson's delusional mind, he believed those 5 individuals had to die. He rightfully was imprisoned for life. Bush orchestrated the deaths of 4,000 American soldiers and over 100,000 Iraquis. He knew, based on CIA intelligence, that they did NOT have to die, but he lied to make it happen all the same. Then millions of Americans voted for him for a second presidential term.
