Kim Thompson's letter was great except for one thing. Balls have nothing to do with courage. It's an extremely sexist way of thinking: "Balls = masculine and therefore strong and good, Pussy = feminine and therefore weak and bad" just encourages the current cultural and political atmosphere of male dominance and superiority.

Instead he proposes non-binding resolutions, defunding the executive component of the Office of the VP, and on and on. I was happy when I first heard R.E.'s proposal, but if we think critically about it, the measure he is proposing will give Dick Cheney exactly what he wants. The Dick isn't going to close up his office just because the legislature cuts his funding but having his office recognized in this way as not part of the Executive will give him the excuse to hide away all the papers that are so sorely needed to get to the bottom of this criminal administration's criminal deeds.

Afraid? When I was flying in Vietnam, (two SE Asia tours, I was always afraid, was every damn day and every nght when the rockets came thumpig in. I once sat in a dark bunker and pissed in my pants. I'm afraid of what is happening to America and to our planet. I have kids and grandkids and I wonder and fear for their futures. I'm afraid Cheney won't be impeached or fall over dead. I'm afraid no decent person will replace GWB. I'm afraid I may someday lose the sight of the only eye I have left, the other was shot out. I'm afraid we argue amongst ourselves too often andmaybe siouxrose quit due to that. I'm not afraid of dying. I believe in after-life and in Jesus Christ and that I'll be Okay when I do die. Ms. Pelosi,

I am writing to encourage you to support HR333.

How can we get you to do the bidding of the American People? What do we say or do to get you to understand that you are, theoretically at least, employed by the people of San Francisco and now the rest of the United States (74%)?

Do you somehow receive money and support from corporations that profit from the status quo? If so, stop representing yourself as something different and stop representing me and my neighbors. No one does anything without a pay off of some sort. What is yours?

Imagine for a moment how frustrating it is for us to have believed that there would be change, only to have found out that it was just so much lip service. Imagine feeling so completely powerless in the face of this spiraling downward of our country. You have the power - we have given it to you - and I am asking that you put Impeachment on the table. You know what has happened. In the end, unless you make the right move, you will be complicit in some of the worst crimes in history. Is this the legacy you imagined when you started out your career?

So, Nancy - You Go, Girl! Get out there and Do The Right Thing! You know what to do. Get your balls out, put them on the table and take a chance. You will be the hero of the vast majority of the American People (and the world, for God's sake; more notable than Paris herself) and your name will go down in history as someone that made a positive difference, as opposed to leaving your mark as part of the problem.

Impeach George W Bush and Richard Cheney for the criminals that they are. Set yourself above them and not above the law. Please, Nancy. We're waiting. The whole world is waiting.

As far as I am concerned, if the congress has time for this type of shenanigans they sure have time for impeachment (HR 333--sponser Dennis Kucinich). Get rid of this clown.
